Was there some kind of giveaway with Kenny's live album? Says 219,000 copies sold which is not only completely unheard of these days but is 2.5x what his most recent actual album sold the first week (89,000). massive tour bundle, all those stadium shows, every ticket gets an album.

Artist: Faren Rachels Album: Faren Rachels Label: River House Release date: November 10, 2017
Faren Rachels has a full calendar this week as she releases her self-titled debut EP today and joins Luke Combs for the second half of his Don’t Tempt Me With A Good Time Tour. Recently named one of Rolling Stone’s 10 New Artists You Need To Know, Rachels is excited to share her new music with fans as she opens a string of 14 sold out dates, hitting markets like Pittsburgh, Atlanta, and Charlotte before wrapping December 16th in Luke’s hometown of Asheville, NC at the US Cellular Center Arena. The Georgia native also had the honour of opening for Dwight Yoakam several times this year, including stops in North Carolina last week.
The self-titled EP features her first two singles Free Drinks and If It Ain’t Fixed, which were released simultaneously last month. Within a couple weeks, Free Drinks reached over 105k streams and was featured on Taste of Country, which praised the tune as ‘An anthem for every woman.’ Having penned four of the five songs, Rachels is proud to share her long awaited debut project, produced by Aaron Goodvin and Sammy Mitchell.
FAREN RACHELS:
Nowhere Tonight (Bart Butler, Aaron Goodvin, Faren Rachels) Free Drinks (Bart Butler, Aaron Goodvin, Faren Rachels) If It Ain’t Fixed (Tommy Cecil, Jaida Dreyer, Jared Mullins, Cole Taylor) If I’m Being Honest (Bart Butler, Aaron Goodvin, Faren Rachels) When Smoking Was Cool (Faren Rachels, Lainey Wilson)

I can't imagine they would take down the pre-orders if the album was still coming out. Country Aircheck may just be a little out-of-the-loop and hadn't updated to reflect that Big Machine had changed their minds. The fact that they were announcing it and throwing it out so last minute seemed bad enough, but I doubt they'd make sure it sold even less by axing the pre-orders. Something ain't right...

I doubt Tucker's album is coming out on Friday. If that were the case, they wouldn't take the pre-order down. Aircheck is probably just going with what they had been told, and they probably haven't been informed about the change of plans.
To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised if Big Machine dropped Tucker on account of that NPR interview he did. He didn't paint the label in a good light at all, and it seems that there was already quite a bit of tension between the label and him.

The negative spin and speculation here regarding Tucker Beathard's album is not productive. Hopefully whatever is going on will be successfully resolved.

The negative spin and speculation here regarding Tucker Beathard's album is not productive. Hopefully whatever is going on will be successfully resolved. Oh, please. There is nothing wrong about speculating why an album may or may not come out, especially when a release date was announced, but then the iTunes pre-order and the album website were taken down. Your post is no more productive than anyone else's.

Keith Urban was on Bobby Bones this morning. He gave the estimate of "ideally hope for April" for the new album release. He said there would probably be a second single after Female before the album would be out. He's still working on the album, writing / recording / listening to songs for the album. It's around the 18 minute mark though he talks about his head being filled with new songs and lyrics that he's working on prior to that. When he was asked about the last album having a few singles out before the album was out, it wasn't planned by himself or label. He never intended for the album to take a year after the release of John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16. It just happened that way because he wasn't done with the album yet and needed to finish it. Wasted Time wasn't recorded until 8 weeks before Ripcord was released.

Is there a track list for Garth Brooks Anthology somewhere? Its' basically the first five albums with some demos next to the master versions. However, there are quite a few tracks from those albums missing. I don't know why he didn't just re-issue the albums again instead of the music being here (and the demos, first takes, etc. being the only "new stuff"). I'm sure there'll be some RIAA sales component to this all. It's basically a different way to make a box set.

That latter price may make it difficult for Billboard.

It's being sold for fifty cents more, so it should chart right away in Billboard.

It WILL be at a disadvantage for releasing on a Tuesday instead of a Friday for any Billboard considerations, if that does indeed happen.

Tucker was on the Bobby Bones show and this is what he said: “Things kind of got complicated. There was just enough of creative differences to where we’re kind of just taking a step back, and kind of re-evaluating. I’ve been holding that record for a long time and I’ve written a lot since then. And now I kind of wanted to add some songs that I feel are more current with me, fresher stuff for me. As much as it sucks I think it’s a blessing in disguise.”

I don't buy it. I believe when that interview came out and he blasted his label basically. The label pulled out on the album date and that more than likely the labels probably thinking of dropping Tucker Beathard, since he has really poor sales, no momentum, radio doesn't seem interested, and that interview just makes Tucker Beathard look like someone who doesn't have a long term future here.
