The freshly released J. Cole set, 4 Your Eyez Only (Dreamville/Roc Nation/Interscope) looks set to bow with a boom on next week's charts, with early forecasts in the 400k-500k region, including a robust streaming component and a nice chunk from single sales. Preorders can fairly be described as "blockbuster," driving expectations that Cole will outpace the bow by another recent UMG Q4 giant, The Weeknd.Eyez flew to #1 at iTunes immediately upon release, while track "Deja Vu" moved into the Top 5 (it's currently parked behind two Cole tracks that don't appear on the album). The album also occupies the top two spots (in explicit and clean versions) on Apple Music's streaming albums chart, while tracks occupy the Top 10 spots on the Top Songs leaderboard.

Whoa. Didn't expect such a large figure. Coming for that second straight platinum with no features.

Very expected. He had a great campaign (of no campaign which people respond to) and has been shown to be very reliable.

That's around what I expected and more. J. Cole has a VERY loyal fan base and he has only increased that from album to album with first week sales increasing with each release. Also a large percentage of his fan base are female listeners and they are more prone to purchasing albums.

Whoa, did not expect this. At this rate, he'll be doing Taylor Swift numbers with his next album. Easy platinum for him this time around.

As of today, 9 out of Cole's 10 album tracks occupy the Top 10 of Spotify. The other one is currently at #11. Still, all 10 have more than 1.4 million plays. AMAZING

Celine's holiday album has been selling better than usual this year, no? Celine is better stocked at mass merchants this year than Mariah. Mariah is selling more digital albums than Celine. Celine was 11.4k last week. Mariah was 9.3k.
