I wonder how bad J. Cole will fall this week They've all fallen decently in sales, but they're all still fairly strong in streaming. Deja Vu is still #6 on Spotify. There's also two others still in the top 20.

The album looks like it's taking a fairly significant hit next week, so I'd imagine TEA numbers will drop pretty hard too. "Deja Vu" and one or two others may hang on to the top 40 but the other tracks will collapse. So in other words...the usual we've seen lately from these album blitzes.

Surprised Mariah would have airplay dropping already, you would think it would be rising the closer we get to Christmas??

Looks like LOTB and Bad Things are the next two songs to battle it out for #1 on airplay once the older songs finally peak.
I see LOTB having the edge though since it's being supported by more formats.

I really don't understand how "Don't Wanna Know" is a top 20 hit let alone #1 at radio. Maybe I'm getting old

I see LOTB having the edge though since it's being supported by more formats. I don't think LOTB has many chances to reach high positions on radio because it won't be a big hit on Pop. Excluding recent features (The Monster and TIWYCF) she hasn't had a song peak in the top 3 on Pop since Stay peaked at #1 in April 2013.

I do think it's a very lazy effort by Maroon 5. Although I don't know your tastes, I think I can say they must be somewhat decent. My theory is that it became big on radio airplay because it's a song that doesn't require people to pay attention to it, which is probably its biggest appeal. Also, because of that it can't possibly annoy most people.

LOTB is her first solo single she's released in a while that's not urban leaning.

LOTB is actually the 2nd pop-friendly single from the album after Kiss It Better, and let's not forget that neither What Now nor Right Now from Unapologetic peaked higher than #15, and also FFS peaked around #6 and American Honey was a flop.

I think lately her pop songs haven't been truly amazing, however I believe LOTB has a great shot. LOTB has cracked the top 20 with little to no promotion, and I believe the rest of the songs flopped due to lack of promotion. What Now recieved an odd video very late and Right Now wasn't ever performed live or promoted at all. FFS was promoted but just flopped at #4, like Applause did to Lady Gaga. I don't believe American Oxygen was ever inteded to be an actual "successful" single.

^^This, plus I would argue FFS isn't very radio friendly at all.

FFS was such a departure from what everyone was expecting her to do. The fact that it still was a top 10 hit is impressive (And extended Paul McCartney's huge span of time since his first top 10, which is impressive for him).
LOTB is looking to become the biggest Pop hit from the album so far (it's at #12 already with a healthy bullet. It only needs to reach #9 to match Work).

Yes, and a video release for LOTB would definitely push it into the top 10

I agree that DWK is a step down from M5's previous content, but that's not saying much because I love practically all their songs. I like DWK a lot, but it's had a pretty high burn rate for me. That being said, it shits mountains on Juju On That Beat (can that thing piss off already?) I know practically everything else does too but yeah lol. I don't think DWK will last long at all. Funny thing, based on the old formula DWK would've been top 5 by now easily.
Speaking of which, what happened to those Hot 100 charts by the old formula that some people were doing last year? I miss those and I'd like to see how the charts would look like right now with that formula (Starboy would be #1 obviously)
