I’m not worried anymore about her laziness. You can’t accept to perform next to JLO and not be willing to put in the work. So excited!

Wasn't sold on a Shakira only halftime show....her name and discography just isn't big enough state-side IMO, but her WITH JLo? Absolutely!

YAASSSS!!!! This should pay dust to all recent shows. These Latin women can put on an amazing show! If they bring any collaborator, they should be Latinx too. And yeah to a collaboration! Uber excited!

The #1 trend worldwide right now is Shakira:
also #1 in the US, which surprises me. I'd figure JLo would be trending above Shakira in the US:

She should open it with a really intimidating rendition of She Wolf 🥵
AND THEN Jenny comes out to sing the 2nd verse! 😱

YESSSSSSS. Shakira has been writing and performing since she was literally a CHILD so, while I was hoping she could perform solo like the worldwide icon she is, I am excited for her and cannot wait!

Needs to end with both of them singing 'Whenever, Wherever,' which came on the radio a few days ago and remains a true global jam 2 this DAY

Over 25 years into her career, Shakira has one of the most streamed albums of all time. She did that with no promo, no interviews, no performances, no public appearances. That’s a huge achievement when you think of all the female albums that have been released in history. In 2018 it was the most streamed female album of all time when it hit 9B and surpassed Taylor Swift's "1989." Currently with 11B, it's #2. Shakira now has the 2nd most streamed female album of all time.
Shakira debuted in the 90s, survived the no internet era, stayed relevant and now fluently transitioned into the streaming era.

Played Dónde están los ladrones? from start to finish the other day. I still love that album so fucking much. She'll never top it. (Especially if you add "Estoy Aquí" at the end of it like I do ).

I liked that she performed songs she likely won’t sing at the Super Bowl. It was a great preview to what she’ll do at the superbowl

When is the last time she released a song in English? I'm ready for another one.

Me Gusta is out. Run of the mill pop reggaeton sound. Sounds like an el dorado reject
Is the a-lalalala-lone part an interpolation? It sounds familiar

Hoping she gets Maluma on stage for "Chantaje" at the Super Bowl. That'd be something to see.

It feels like a mistake that she's going down that route again. Her label likely felt that was the safe bet for her. *sigh* Well, I'll hope for the best.

List seems odd to me. No Elvis? Looks like bands aren’t included so no Beatles.
