No one predicted this song would go out at #7. Ironically this same exact song was the #7 song in the 1997 Country Rankdown as well

I don't know about the rest of my food brothers and sisters but this BLT has somethin' to say!
I may be a sandwich now, but I still have a voice, much to fearlessarrow's dismay!
"This Kiss" isn't that bad as a whole, but my gosh, the THIS KISS THIS KISSSSS! lines in the chorus have always been so grating and have stuck out like a sore thumb for me, and it's a big fat no. Pair that with overplay and the overrated-ness of the song/Faith and you have a song that I only ranked in my top 80 lol.

I wonder when Martina can ever make the top 5 in a country year-end rankdown. Maybe with "Independence Day"?

was really sad when I saw that "A Broken Wing" ended at #7. Was really hoping for a Top 5 finish this time.
Up next is another shocking elimination. Only 1 person correctly predicted this song would be out at #6 and I expect some people to be upset...

As Reba was a staple in my household when I was growing up, I definitely heard If You See Him my fair share of times. Obviously, "If You See Him/If You See Her" is a highlight, but "Wrong Night" and "Face to Face" stood out to me, too. And I can't not mention "All This Time", given that that song was played all the time. I know the chorus by heart.

If me ranking this at #12 made it fall a spot, then #6 is something else in my top 10. I thought I would be able to be a sleuth and figure it out based upon what I have left, but 5 of the remaining 6 are in my top 10 so who really knows what could be next lol. All I know is it won't be Lee Ann Womack.

It absolutely massacred everything else in her rankdown! If she ever has a chance of hitting #1 in a year-end rankdown, that'll be the song that does it!

Ugh, "You're Still The One" should have been out long ago.
I really want "Bye Bye" or "Alright" to win at this point.

Wow at Jo Dee Messina having 2 songs in the top 5! Both are great songs, so I'm definitely not complaining.
I'm going to go on a limb and guess "You're Still the One" is going to be #5.

"You're Still The One" and "Wide Open Spaces" are so overrated. They definitely belonged in the top 10, and I would give them both an A grade, but I rarely go out of my way to listen to them anymore because they were both just so massively overplayed. I would have definitely swapped out those two for Martina and George. Lee Ann's song is amazing, but I don't think she will win because her song is probably the least impactful out of the ones that are left. Tl;dr: I am stoked to watch Jo Dee destroy the competition once again!!
