I was diving in deeper today for Mediabase callout scores and I didn't even realize that this song is actually testing really well with men, besides Morgan Wallen, Brett Eldredge, and Blake Shelton this is testing the best among men both young and old which ia stunning to me because this feels like a song that would test really well with women not men. But shockingly with younger women this tests horribly. Callout never ceases to amaze me.
In terms of chart prospects another good week for the ladies gaining 153 spins this week on Mediabase, currently at #17 btw and this should land at #16 or #15 depending if Kelsea Ballerini falls below (Morgan Wallen is expected to go recurrent on Mediabase). Still holding out hope for a Top 10 finish, hopefully the album dropping in a week can finally get this song some sales.

That's why the low sales don't matter. Do you kind of see what I've been talking about lately? Callout is good. It can identify which songs regular, everyday radio listeners really want to hear so radio can play those songs more and not have to use a sales chart that only represents a tiny fraction of the population. This'll probably get a top 5 peak all due to good callout.

It's nice to see that this inoffensive song isn't turning off the bro crowd radio caters to, but Runaway June isn't going to keep racking up hits after this one if their singles fail to pick up more sales or streaming. Radio puts more stock in callout than they probably should, but it will not carry them forever. They need to develop actual fans, and right now that's not really happening with this song.

You're right. I hope they don't go the way of Chase Rice, because this is actually a great song and I'm really starting to warm up to these girls. The vocals are soothing. Hopefully they'll make it to a full CD release at least so I can have some more music to listen to in my car.

For someone so in-tuned with all the callout figures, you need to pay more attention to other things.

Well regardless, "Buy My Own Drinks" does move up 2 spots to #16 on Mediabase with a bullet of 206 with a gain of over 1200k in audience, and still maintains a good lead on the songs below (over 700 spins between Runaway June and the next song below it). Good news is that sales have improved a little bit (#368 all genre on iTunes). With the album coming out next week, I think the album drop could be the sales boost lady𝓐fan was talking about and hopefully that can be maintained as well. If it keeps at this pace I do think Top 10 is possible.

I feel like I’ve been hearing this one quite a bit more the last 3 weeks or so. I get 3 different country stations near where I live so I’m not sure if I’m just listening to the right one at the right time but I’m almost positive it’s been put on higher rotation for at least 1 of the stations.
I like this one quite a bit! They are 3/3 for me so far. It would be cool to see them become consistent hitmakers and have a popular all women group on the radio.

I really think that being on tour with Carrie has helped this song immensely. This is easily the most popular song in their set.

BBRMG sent their album out to programmers today, an advanced preview before it drops Friday.
Great album. All 10 songs are good. Standouts are “We Were Rich” and “Blue Roses”.
ETA: Whole album is also on All Access lol.

Up to #13 on Mediabase, closing in on the Top 10.
How much longer do you guys see this song going and where it ultimately peaks? I haven't been chart watching that much the past couple of weeks (oops) so I don't really have much of an idea myself.

Is this run reminding anyone else of "Little Bit of You" by Chase Bryant?

Is this run reminding anyone else of "Little Bit of You" by Chase Bryant? Oh gosh the female version of that run in a way. Both Broken Bow promoted, non sales, but upbeat radio friendly fodder and can always find another crack to sneak by further and further into the chart.

This was technically released to radio in August last year but it didn't chart until October, so this one could have a few months of charting left in it yet. I think top 10 seems pretty likely with the way its been gaining lately. That alone would be a great accomplishment for this song, and anything higher would be just fantastic. Very excited that radio has warmed up to these girls enough to let this song keep chugging along despite minimal commercial interest in them thus far, but I'm hoping with further releases that they'll pick up some in sales/streaming.

And of course callout for this suddenly becomes worse as it moves closer to top 10..

If the callout is starting to slip, the label might be better off trying to max this song in the next couple of weeks and just get the Top 10 on Mediabase and maybe Billboard and move on to I assume "Head Over Heels". This song isn't doing bad this week gain wise, but the gains are starting to slow down overall, and being at nearly 40 weeks is pretty old for a female song.

I am not a fan of these girls at all, but even I think "We Were Rich" is amazing. I can't imagine anything else being selected as the next single.

Still at #15 on Country Airplay and moves up a couple to #18 on Hot Country Songs. Also "Buy My Own Drinks" is at #12 this week for Mediabase. So this song is all over the map.
Finally "Buy My Own Drinks" did manage to make the Top 10 this week in terms of audience gained for Billboard this week, so it does look like this song has a bit of fight left in it.

This is now #13 on Billboard AirPlay. I’m hoping it can manage a top 10 peak. Morgan Wallen should drop out next week. I kinda wish FGL would give up since their song has been on for sooo long. With Blake and Eric now falling and Maren beginning her fall next week I think this can wait out a top 10 peak. It would be cool to see!

Sitting at #182 on iTunes right now. I think the sales could justify pushing this into the top 5 but this is already 40 weeks old and burn rate is alarmingly high, so that would be a tall task. So happy that radio has supported these girls so far, though!

So happy that radio has supported these girls so far, though! Probably best bet is to do a hard 2-3 week push as the gains have continued to slow down little by little since the album drop.

They should get this into the Top 10 and then release “I Am Too”. I also really love “Good, Bad & Ugly” but I think the former would be better for radio. I don’t really get the love for “Head Over Heels”.

I wonder how close this is to debuting on the Hot 100? Has to be really close.
Unfortunately for Runaway June they slip back a notch to #12 on Mediabase. They are still gaining so I think Top 10 is likely.

I wonder how close this is to debuting on the Hot 100? Has to be really close. It is #3 on bubbling under. Once Ed Sheeran album tracks fell off from the chart, this might be able to sneak in.
