1. Which songs will be in the top 5? "Bubba Shot The Jukebox", "Too Cold At Home", "Almost Goodbye", "Brother Jukebox" and maybe "It's A Little Too Late"
2. Which songs will be in the bottom 5? "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing", "What Child Is This", "A Good Way To Get On My Bad Side", "Hot", "Woman, Sensuous Woman"
3. Which song(s) will be the most polarizing? No idea, I think it'll be a late career single though.
4. Which post-90's song will post the highest? "She Never Got Me Over You"
5. When do you expect your #1 to leave? In the 30's actually. I never remember mine being a stand out for most people.
6. When do you expect your #50 to leave? bottom 2.
Which song will place higher?
7. "Almost Goodbye"?
8. "Brother Jukebox"
9. "It's a Little Too Late"?
10. "Rollin' With The Flow"

1. Which songs will be in the top 5? "It's A Little Too Late", "It Sure Is Monday", "Too Cold At Home", and idk what else. So many possibilities!! 2. Which songs will be in the bottom 5? "What Child Is This", "Hot", "Come On In (The Whiskey's Fine)", and idk what else. Nothing deserves it, including the ones I listed! 3. Which song(s) will be the most polarizing? Hopefully "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" will get enough love to be the most polarizing! Incredible song 4. Which post-90's song will post the highest? Gonna be bold and go with "Heard It In A Love Song". That melody was infectious! I could also see it being "Oughta Miss Me By Now". 5. When do you expect your #1 to leave? It'll be top 5, and maybe even top 2. 6. When do you expect your #50 to leave? I think it's a pretty safe bet to be THE #50... Which song will place higher?7. "Too Cold at Home" or "Almost Goodbye"? "Too Cold At Home", but both better do well!! 8. "Brother Jukebox" or "Bubba Shot The Jukebox"? "Bubba". 9. "Goin' Through The Big D" or "It's a Little Too Late"? "It's A Little Too Late", but I'd love to see both in the top 5! GTTBD could end up falling short though, but hopefully it's at least a top 10... 10. "Rollin' With The Flow" or "I Don't Wanna Miss a Thing"? "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing"!!!!!!!!

I'll reveal both #50 and #49 nearly back-to-back, since both were far and away the two last place songs of this rankdown in points.

#50. "What Child Is This?"
Total Points: 644 Average: 46.0 Year Released: 1997 Radio & Records Peak: Did Not Chart Billboard Peak: #75 Rankings:zack97 - 29 ClevelandRox - 32 LBTrocks - 36 Cody Wants Out... - 47 CoJoFan - 50 bboat11 - 50 castleoblivion26 - 50 gardyfan - 50 .indulgecountry - 50 Kanenrá:ke - 50 kw9461 - 50 George Strait Junkie - 50 sabre14 - 50 tim - 50 "What Child Is This?" was a charting Christmas entry for Mark Chesnutt in 1997. It was off compilation Christmas album, A Country Christmas. It was also later included on his Christmas EP in 2016.
No surprise this was out first -- 10 of the 14 submissions had this at last. Christmas inclusions always do poorly in these artist rankdowns and considering it's a cover and the strong discography for Mark, it was destined to be last.

#49. "Hot"
Total Points: 610 Average: 43.5 Year Released: May, 2017 Mediabase Peak: Did Not Chart Billboard Peak: Did Not Chart Rankings: George Strait Junkie - 25 ClevelandRox - 37 gardyfan - 39 .indulgecountry - 40 castleoblivion26 - 44 kw9461 - 45 Kanenrá:ke - 45 CoJoFan - 46 LBTrocks - 46 sabre14 - 48 tim - 48 bboat11 - 49 Cody Wants Out... - 49 zack97 - 49 "Hot" was the second and final single off Mark Chesnutt's Tradition Lives album in May of 2017. It was a secondary radio release off Row Entertainment. The song was written by Don Poythress and Wynn Varble.
This is most definitely one of my least favorite singles from Mark...but the more I hear it, the more I find it enjoyable lol. It's got that slow, western swing feel and the song is exactly what it's title says, it's HOT lol.

#48. Mark Chesnutt - "Lovin' Her Was Easier (Than Anything I'll Ever Do Again)"
Total Points: 559 Average: 39.9 Year Released: 2010 Mediabase Peak: Did Not Chart Billboard Peak: Did Not Chart Rankings: zack97 - 14 bboat11 - 28 ClevelandRox - 36 sabre14 - 38 Kanenrá:ke - 39 gardyfan - 41 CoJoFan - 42 kw9461 - 42 George Strait Junkie - 42 LBTrocks - 43 Cody Wants Out... - 48 .indulgecountry - 48 castleoblivion26 - 49 tim - 49 "Lovin' Her Was Easier (Than Anything I'll Ever Do Again)" was the only release off Mark Chesnutt's Outlaw album from 2010, off Saguaro Records. The song was a remake of a Kris Kristofferson single from 1971. It was also done by Roger Miller, Waylon Jennings and Tompall and the Glaser Brothers, who took it to #2 in 1981. Chesnutt said he wasn't a big fan of the song until he heard Waylon Jennings' version and decided to include it on his album of remakes from country outlaws. Mark's discography is too strong for me to place this any higher but definitely sounds like a Kristofferson tune. zack97 loses a top 15 at #48.

#47. "That Good That Bad"
Total Points: 518 Average: 37.0 Year Released: February, 2007 Mediabase Peak: Did Not Chart Billboard Peak: Did Not Chart Rankings:LBTrocks - 10 kw9461 - 26 sabre14 - 29 Cody Wants Out... - 33 zack97 - 35 castleoblivion26 - 36 George Strait Junkie - 38 ClevelandRox - 40 Kanenrá:ke - 40 bboat11 - 44 tim - 45 gardyfan - 47 .indulgecountry - 47 CoJoFan - 48 "That Good That Bad" was the second and final single off Mark Chesnutt's Heard It In a Love Song album in early 2007 (album was released in 2006). The song was written by Chesnutt, Roger Springer, Clessie Lee Morrissette, Jr.. Really like this one, love the melody and song's subject. God use of the fiddle and electric guitar as well. I knew it would be out early, as most don't even remember this one. No surprise, LBTrocks loses a top 10 first lmao.

Two Three perfect rankings already! "What Child Is This" was the only correct choice for last. It's not even a good Xmas song when artists I'm a big fan of record it, let alone someone like Mark Chesnutt who I'm not as familiar with. "Lovin' Her" was mediocre, too. I knew "Hot" would be an early exit, but I liked it more than I expected to. The way he delivers the song vocally is kinda cool to me. Still not a huge standout though so I'm fine with it leaving, too.
ETA: Make it three PRs, lol. "That Good That Bad" felt basic and demo-y.

#46. Mark Chesnutt - "Woman, Sensuous Woman"
Total Points: 513 Average: 36.6 Year Released: March, 1994 Radio & Records Peak: #18 Billboard Peak: #21 Rankings:gardyfan - 25 tim - 27 Cody Wants Out... - 28 George Strait Junkie - 28 Kanenrá:ke - 32 CoJoFan - 35 kw9461 - 36 sabre14 - 36 bboat11 - 39 ClevelandRox - 43 .indulgecountry - 43 castleoblivion26 - 46 LBTrocks - 47 zack97 - 48 "Woman, Sensuous Woman" was the fourth and final single off Mark Chesnutt's Almost Goodbye album in March of 1994. It reached #18 on R&R in late May. It's a cover of Don Gibson's #1 hit from 1972. The song was the only single from Almost Goodbye to not reach #1.
The lyrics are a little off-putting here but the melody is fairly strong, as is the production and Mark's vocals. Not surprised it's out this low though.

#44. "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing"
Total Points: 484 Average: 34.5 Year Released: November, 1998 Radio & Records Peak: #1 Billboard Peak: #1 Rankings:bboat11 - 3 CoJoFan - 13 gardyfan - 14 tim - 25 Cody Wants Out... - 32 .indulgecountry - 32 LBTrocks - 32 George Strait Junkie - 41 castleoblivion26 - 47 ClevelandRox - 48 Kanenrá:ke - 49 kw9461 - 49 sabre14 - 49 zack97 - 50 "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" was the lead single off Mark Chesnutt's album of the same name in November of 1998, on Decca Nashville. It reached #1 in early 1999, spending two weeks atop Billboard and four weeks atop R&R -- becoming the biggest chart hit of his career and unfortunately, was his final #1 single. The song was a country cover of the massive hit by Aerosmith, that was off the motion picture Armageddon's soundtrack in the months prior. In an interview with Taste of Country that Chesnutt did last year, he reiterated the story he's told before, in detail about the situation. He was pressured into doing the song by his label, because he knew he be put on the back-burner and maybe lose his deal if he didn't. After giving in and recording it, he faced backlash from his core fanbase and made George Jones mad at him for doing it. I love how open and honest Mark is about this whole situation. This has always been a sore spot of his career, just because how out-of-character it was for him and a blatant move by a label to get a quick hit. The fact they wanted him to do another pop remake nearly two years later is amazing lol.

This cover isn't even bad. I definitely expected it to go sooner rather than later, but this is certainly much lower than I'd expected or hoped.

Um, what is wrong with "That Good That Bad" it's a great little country tune! Fantastic melody and instrumentation, can't believe it's out so early.
"Trouble" is also a jam and has no business being out already. Lord have mercy.
I love "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" but in a set of songs so strong, I couldn't rank it any higher.
Also "What Child Is This" is my FAVORITE Christmas song. I adore it, and I like Mark's, but there are many other versions I would listen to first. Still, it had NO business being out first.
"Hot" and "Woman, Sensuous Woman" just aren't good songs lol.

50. What Child Is This - I pretty much hate Christmas music and this is bottom of the barrel. Great job getting this out early guys!
49. Hot - Don't love this one, nothing stand out about it and I even feel it doesn't quite fit what I expect from a Chesnutt song.
48. Lovin' Her Was Easier (Than Anything I'll Ever Do Again) - This is fine, solid really, but for me it requires a certain style to shine and Mark doesn't have it. Again not in his wheelhouse but I appreciate the effort.
47. That Good That Bad - I think the whole album this one comes from suffers from slightly weak production, it's easily my least visited album from him. Don't hate it though.
46. Woman, Sensuous Woman - Ok lyrically this is...problematic sure, given when it was written I can sorta let it slide especially when the melody is this strong!
45. Trouble - Great song and looking at my ranking I think I should've had it a few higher even. I love the way his vocal sounds on this.
44. I Don't Want To Miss A Thing - This shouldn't even exist, of all the 90's country singers to give in I hate that Mark was one of them. There's nothing wrong with covering a pop song, and I think there's probably some Mark could've done well but this always felt like a cash grab and sticks out like a sore thumb in his discography. All that and I don't like the production on this, don't even think anybody could make this work as a country song tbh, it was always meant to be a pop song. (Jordan's rare traditionalist moment lol)
