I like this song quite a bit! It is very catchy, it’ll be a hit for sure and I’m sure excited to see him perform it on SNL this weekend. According to Apple Music he has a song with Little Big Town on the album which should be good! LBT is so talented and I’ve really enjoyed Thomas so that Ieill be a track to look forward to for sure!

I’m not digging this at all. I normally don’t mind his music, but this is just boring to me. Sounds like a B-side to one of his last couple albums

Is this catchy? Yes. Will this smash? probably. Is it country at all? No. Is it actually good? IMO, no...the lyrics are trite and shallow. And I suspect the Lauren in real life is significantly more interesting than the one dimensional pretty angel in Thomas' songs

I'll never be the biggest fan of these type of heavy handed pop-country songs, but this is pretty catchy. Its a good song for the summer, so I can see why they would choose it as the lead single. I'm hoping there will be more songs like "Drink A Little Beer" and "Sixteen" on the new album though.

Holy cow this is an insanely catchy song regardless of what genre it is labeled as. Flat out jam. This is going to be a huge smash. Great timing with the release since this has summer jam written all over it (I imagine this’ll peak in June).
The last time a song was this instant for me in terms of its catchiness was “Body Like a Back Road” and we all know what kind of smash that was. I can see this crossing into pop and AC after this peaks on country radio as well.

Love this! This is gonna be a big summer hit! I don't think I like this as much as any of the 5 singles from his last album though.
The only part I really don't like in the song is the "I know she's got haters" part of the chorus. That just sounds really cheesy and not relevant to the song. But with how catchy this is, I'll get over it. Hope there is much better on his album though! Glad it's coming early summer!

#3 on iTunes all-genre, #1 on country. Not selling anything compared to the Jonas Brothers' new song, but still will probably get big numbers. I expect the performance to boost this, he might challenge the Brothers for #1 there.
As for the song itself, I really like it. It isn't country, but it's catchy as hell. The lyrics can be a bit corny at times, but nothing awful. This is pretty much a guaranteed smash.

This is so catchy I think it could be a hit on the pop side of the chart as well. Not my favourite from Thomas and certainly I can't hear anything country about this except maybe for the reference to God.

Not really feeling this. I won't feel bad if this bombs... but that won't happen. Still, I will look forward to his next album.

The year is 2025. Thomas Rhett is releasing a new single. The artwork shows him in a very cool jacket. The song comes on--it's about a woman. This much we know from the title. You feel very comfortable knowing that somewhere behind the wall of sound created by the iPhone 57 drum loop is Rhett's voice belting out lyrics guaranteed to be posted to Instagram within the hour. You are met with the gentle hum of an instrument heard vaguely behind the drums, despite not knowing whether busbee's Casio keyboard is providing us with electric guitar 1, synth drop, or horns ensemble. The freshness is overwhelming but the familiarity makes you feel right at home. You can't wait to hear the full album which promises to be an impressive collection of sounds from every genre, except that one that seems so distant you struggle to remember the name. You empty your wallet. Mangoritas for everyone.

Honestly the snippet made this sound better than I thought. Not a huge fan, but it’s okay. He’s done way better.

Can I just say this is the most boring album cover of all-time? Doesn't even have the title on it. This would make sense if it was self-titled, but it isn't. I thought 'Tangled Up''s cover was generic.

I actually thought the cover of Tangled Up made him look a bit ape-ish, and I never thought he could come up with something worse... color me surprised :'(

This is probably my least favourite Thomas Rhett song, after a couple of listens. Hopefully it grows on me.

I listened to this on radio today for the first time and then again on Spotify several hours later to remind myself what it sounded like and both times I tuned out halfway through the song and realized once it was almost over that it had failed to hold my attention. I still don't remember anything about it, other than that it was totally unremarkable and he's still largely lost on me outside of a select few songs (and even the ones I like are mostly a solid C+/B- at best). Meh.

These album covers need consequences. This is the newest boring af Dan + Shay cover all over. I really need them to change it ASAP.
The song was really cute and infectious, perfect first single you can have on repeat (I kind of hear Katy Perry's Last Friday Night TGIF in the background music).
I hope we get another new song on SNL tonight but I'm thinking it might be Sixteen.

This song is catchy with really nice vocals. It'll be a great summer cruising song. It also sounds just like a song that Justin Timberlake or the Backstreet Boys would have released in 2000. Boy, I can't get over what country radio is actually playing as country music these days. It really is quite incredible! Maybe Rob Thomas should actually try releasing his latest single to country radio after all. Several fans said they thought they heard a country flavor to it. I didn't but it does have a celtic vibe in it and it talks about dying which is more a country theme of old than you hear nowadays. Anyway, Rhett's new song is very catchy and I'm sure will be a big hit for him.

Debuts at #79 on US Spotify with 427,979 first day streams. Also starts at #32 on the Mediabase 7-day report with 10.441 audience.
Also, "Don't Threaten Me With a Good Time" featuring Little Big Town has appeared on the album's iTunes page.

Is this definitely the album cover though? I just feel like it’s a placeholder until they release an actual cover. Why would the album just have his name on it and not the album title? It makes absolutely no sense. Dan + Shay I can understand since it was their self titled release. Anyways this debuted at #32 today on the rolling Mediabase chart. Also I understand why they count iHeartRadio towards his plays but if they do that why don’t they count SiriusXM? Or do they? If this song didn’t get the iHeartRadio treatment would it debut so high? For that matter would any song debut really high without it?

This is reminiscent of "Body Like a Back Road" but a better version of that (I like BLABR a lot but that doesn't mean I think it's good quality-wise, I'm allowed to have guilty pleasures!). However, this isn't really doing much for me currently.
I'll have certain songs that I really like from him ("Die a Happy Man", "Crash and Burn", "Make Me Wanna", "It Goes Like This", "Marry Me", "Sixteen", "Craving You") and then others that completely do nothing for me ("Life Changes", "Get Me Some of That", "Star of the Show" etc.), it's really interesting. This one is looking like it'll go into the latter category for me but I'll see how much I like it in a couple months from now.

Good, cause that was really boring. How does that work if you already got this song though? Are you just stuck with the boring cover? I suppose you could always use an MP3 tagging application to add the new cover, but still.
