If you're referring to the OP, it's temporary because I needed a placeholder post to edit once the official information is announced. However, if it's about the post below, Dua already said that the title track will be released with the music video, so it's safe to say that the new video is about the second single.

Technically, the title track didn't have a music video because she released a lyric video instead, but she confirmed that the music video she's shooting is indeed for the next single.

The January release I'm most looking forward to. β€
A βhuge , intense , dark pop bopβ sounds so promising, and at the same time something that's very likely to click with the GP. I have high, high hopes for this.

I think someone said it's more mid-tempo than a huge banger too? I might've made that up though.

I loved Don't Start Now, and I can't wait for this. But I'm not sure if now is the right time to push a new single since DSN is just starting to take off in the US and just reached top ten on Pop.

When I hear βhuge, intense, dark popβ, potentially mid-tempo, and following 2 straight energetic pop songs in a row... I think of Katy Perryβs ET, which is one of my favorite songs ever. So needless to say, Iβm perched. Iβm hoping this is a real jam.

This is the aforementioned Spotify banner. Anyway, I'm intrigued about the release date because it coincides with "Swan Song", which was released on the same date a year ago.

That banner is gorgeous. Based on the description, albeit vague, I'm really excited.

Hot Olivia Newton John cover?
Jokes aside, I'd be cool if this actually were a cover of that song lol given the whole aesthetic and vibe of the era thus far fitting it like a glove
I hope it maybe at least interpolated a sample of it lol

I thought this was the song that samples Need You Tonight by INXS or was that just a rumor?

Some infos from insiders on the other forum{Infos} Her top 3 ever Incredible song that will leave everyone WET It's not related to Olivia's classic It's a massive fast-paced dark pop banger, I doubt it will be a hit but it's gonna become a fan favorite for sure. Imo this will flop hard, it's literally too good for the GP If you are worried that the production is dated, it REALLY isn't, it's sharp and fresh even with all the synths. Produced by KOZ (Hotter Than Hell, Last Dance & Thinking 'Bout You)

Dua is really coming with the best pop album of 2020, huh?
It's also the best time to release a disco influenced album since it's the beginning of a decade and it could easily be the next big thing in pop, following the electropop wave in the '10s.

Iβm so excited for this. Future Nostalgia and Donβt Start Now are my top 2 favorite songs from Dua so Iβm excited to see if this dethrones Future Nostalgia as my #1 by her.

Dua Lipa is really coming hard this era! π I haven't seen a pop artist generate so much hype for an upcoming album in quite some time, especially since this is only her sophomore effort. And indeed, born , it's definitely the perfect time to release a disco-influenced album. It would be a dream come true to have this become the defining sound of the 2020s.

The album and song of the decade are really about to be delivered to us within the first four months of the decade... the excellence!
I love that Dua's actually creating quality rather than doing the same old sh!t as her first album. The fact she's been using mostly the same team for this album, but everything from her lyrics, vocals, and production are improved. I'm so excited for her and this album.

She could have easily gone for the easy route and capitalize on the "New Rules" sound and aesthetic, but instead she took a bold direction that's paying off wonderfully. She was already my favorite out of the new batch of pop girls, but this new era is only consolidating my admiration and respect for her. Not to mention that she actually took the criticism of her dancing and stage presence to heart and visibly worked hard to improve them. And that, ladies and gentlemen, is how we distinguish trend followers from trend setters - interchangeable singers to artists with vision and ambition π

Releasing this month seems early... DSN has a lot of room left to grow. Keeping in mind that "Don't Start Now" was released on November 1st, it makes sense for her to release her follow-up in late January. The US was just too late to catch on the song, while the likes of Australia and the UK instantly made it a top 5 hit. We'll see how it goes, nevertheless, but "Don't Start Now" definitely has plenty of room left to grow, so I hope any future release doesn't kill off its momentum.
