I find it kinda funny that "Let Me Let Go" is leaving at the exact same place in this rankdown that "This Kiss" did in BotB. With "This Kiss", recordyear put it in last place and he said "Let's get rid of that one before the top 15", and then he got his wish! Now here he is seeing that wish come true again with the counterpart from the same album. I dunno, it's just kinda comical to me "Let Me Let Go" has never been one of my favorite songs from Faith. In general I am just kinda tired of all of the singles from her Faith album for some reason. They have all aged on me quicker than most of her other work. Some great gems remained on the album though, and I would have LOVED to see an album track like "The Hard Way" or "You Give Me Love" pull off an upset and place above the singles! It wasn't meant to be though.

"Goin' Through The Big D" was not able to sneak into the top 10 the way that "Bubba Shot The Jukebox" was in BotB, but it still did pretty darn great here!! Mark was a very consistent top 20 competitor here, which is quite great considering that he isn't exactly one of the big Pulse faves compared to many of the artists that are left.

"Cryin' Game" was unfortunately a flop on radio, but it managed to hang on for a #2 finish in the rankdown for its album! I think this song is insanely catchy, and I love Sara's delivery of this song. The arrangement is deliciously '90s country as well. I can see why this missed out on the top 10, because it is not one of Sara's well-known songs. I still wish it could have made it though!

Up next, another song that was poised to be a top 10 finisher for pretty much the entire rankdown!!!!!

As I said, "Mama Tried" was a nearly constant top 10 contender here...pretty much until ClevelandRox decided he has no respect for the deceased or the elderly and decided to give it a good ol' tanky tank. All joking aside, I think it is SO impressive how well Merle was able to do here!!! We all know that most of us would completely toss out an old song when it's put up against classics from the '90s and '00s, so the fact that this song was able to make as much headway as it did is a HUGE victory in my eyes!

"Why Don't We Just Dance" is a catchy, amazing jam, but like I said in the reveal for "Would You Go With Me" in BotB, I am just plain getting kinda tired of most of Josh's big hits. I still love him, but find myself gravitating towards his deeper cuts these days.

I still love him, but find myself gravitating towards his deeper cuts these days. Blame country radio for shafting most of his music! They only have a handful of Josh Turner hits to play so of course when those are the only ones getting played... that makes sense. I'm lucky in the sense that I didn't grow up on country radio - so Josh's biggest hits remain jams to me!

fearlessarrow since you're the only one around, do you have a prediction for which of these amazing remaining songs will miss the top 10??! I didn't realize "Living and Living Well" was THAT well-liked! I'm thinking that one but I wouldn't be surprised if it's one of the Martina songs left.

I don't know if y'all are as surprised as I am, but I am SHOCKED to see "Who I Am" miss out on the top 10! But honestly, if you look at the trajectory graph, it wasn't even really much of a top 10 contender at all.
This is one of the most iconic country songs of the '00s, and I am surprised to see it take 3 entire BotB and RotB cycles to finally finish in the top 2 of a rankdown!

Yikes a #50 for "Mama Tried"... Unlike some posters who did this while only liking half their list, I like everything here except for Garth Brooks (who remains unlistenable).

This is a great Top 10! But like...what's "Let Me Let Go" doing outside the Top 15?
And I'm in indulge's boat. I simply just don't like Garth Brooks. Can you blame me; he murdered MY dog! Glad that song FINALLY (!!!!) left.

Jessica is ten spots too low.
I honestly thought she would be Top 5!

Hmm, not bad at all. I only have one 'tank' left, and considering this rankdown is 55 songs it's not even that severe.

So first of all, I have somehow forgotten to be revealing the bonus songs along the way Let's get some of those out of the way now while we wait for more people to show up! "Peter Pan" is a song that previously won Kelsea Ballerini's rankdown of her first two albums. It made history for being the largest gap between a #1 and #2 finisher EVER at the time, absolutely curb-stomping "XO" which finished at #2! It has now fallen back to the 3rd largest gap between #1 and #2, as Tim/Faith's The Rest Of Our Life album had an even bigger gap between "Break First" and "Cowboy Lullaby", and just a couple weeks ago Sara Evans claimed the biggest gap of all time, when "Three Chords And The Truth" beat "Shame About That" in her debut album rankdown. "Peter Pan" once again had an awesome finish recently when it finished at #2 in 𝓲𝓽'𝓼.𝓰𝓿's personal rankdown of his favorite country songs from the 2010s. It got held up by Lady A's "Need You Now", preventing it from becoming a multi-rankdown winner, but allowing it to get featured as a bonus song in this rankdown!!
Bonus: "Peter Pan" - Kelsea Ballerini
Finished at #2 in: GV's Favorite Country Songs of the 2010s rankdown (Host: 𝓲𝓽'𝓼.𝓰𝓿)

At the end of Jo Dee's album series, castleoblivion26 hosted a summative rankdown of every Jo Dee song that had finished at #1 throughout the series. "I'm Alright" won, but the #2 position was ruled by her sassy kiss-off anthem "My Give A Damn's Busted". That song was not allowed to be in this RotB rankdown, because obviously it is a previous rankdown winner that has been in BotB before. But with its #2 finish, it earned a mention here!
Bonus: "My Give A Damn's Busted" - Jo Dee Messina
Finished at #2 in the: Jo Dee Messina: #1s rankdown (Host: castleoblivion26)

Deana Carter is somebody who seemingly always does well in rankdowns. "Strawberry Wine" is a song that has won or almost won every rankdown it has been a part of. It previously won Deana Carter's singles rankdown, and tim's '90s Women of Country rankdown, which allowed it to participate in our last BotB rankdown. In that rankdown, it managed to almost win once again, but was thwarted of course by Sara Evans' "A Little Bit Stronger", one of the few songs/artists that could beat it.
Bonus: "Strawberry Wine" - Deana Carter
Finished at #2 in the: Best of the Best - Part II rankdown (Host: bboat11)
