Great music video for Darkness, what I would do for someone to show that at congress one day.

Haven't heard the whole thing yet, but I love what I have heard so far. This is Eminem's best album in a long time.

They said my last album I sounded bitter No, I sound like a spitter Who ninety percent of These hypocrites are tryna get rid of But why would I get a chip on my shoulder? I was considered, one time, as the illest Bitch, I'm still as fly as your zipper True, I just get richer But if it was ever all about skrilla Then I woulda quit a long motherf**king time ago Bitch, shut the f**k up I should go say that s**t to Tech N9ne or to Jigga Nobody said s**t about 2 Chainz as long as he's been here, s**t No wonder you're mad, now I'm Looking at them plaques, count 'em I'm LL Cool J, Bigger and Deffer, that's how come I sell like four mil' when I put out a bad album Revival flopped, came back and I scared the crap out 'em But Rolling Stone stars, I get two and a half outta Five, and I'll laugh out loud 'Cause that's what they gave BAD back in the day Which actually made me not feel as bad now, 'cause If it happened to James It can happen to Shady They do the same s**t to Brady More people hate me than love me This game will make you go crazy 'Bout to go for B-R-O-K-E I was the G, the O-A-T Once I was played in rotation At every radio station They said I'm lyrically amazing But I have nothing to say But then when I put out Revival and I had something to say They said that they hated the awake me I lose the rage, I'm too tame I get it back, they say I'm too angry I need to get me some Dre beats No, I should hook up with Tay Keith Fans keep on pulling me one way Haters pull me in another Got more hooks in me than Swae Lee 'Bout to pick up some weights and lift 'til my tattoo of Hailie's face stretches They said I'm just a whiner, I sound like a baby I dish it out but can't take it But I take it, dish it back out And they get all bent out of shape This s**t's almost comical Wait, and I meant no disrespect I wasn't dissin' Tech, that was not a shot at 2 Chainz or to Jay-Z They probably feel the same way because lately Instead of us being credited for longevity And being able to keep it up for this long at this level, we Get told we'll never be what we were Bitch, if I was as half as good as I was I'm still twice as good as you'll ever be Only way that you're ahead of me's alphabetically 'Cause if you diss me I'm coming after you like the letter V Killing everything, play this tune, it's your eulogy
It's your funeral, prepare to die This is music for you to be murdered by
That is how you start an album

His chart dominance is nuts. Weβve never seen it with an artist his age.

Premonition (Intro) Unaccommodating You Gon' Learn In Too Deep Godzilla Darkness Yah Yah Marsh Never Love Again Lock It Up Farewell No Regrets I Will
This right here would've been the perfect tracklist. But I'm nit picking. This is a really good album. It reminds me of "The Eminem Show".

#HotTake. I THINK I like this better than Revival and MMLP2 and anything is better than Recovery, which is the only album of his I NEVER revisit. It was also the first time I didn't love a first single of his. He needs to work on his quality control. That's what has plagued most of his post Eminem Show output. While I still think he is the greatest rapper alive, sometimes his albums frustrate me. This held my attention for sure though. I give it a B+
1. Darkness (extremely well-executed) 2. Premonition (Intro) 3. Unaccomodating 4. No Ragrets 5. Yah Yah 6. Little Engine (FIREEEEE...Dre & Co. did a fantastic job. That "Little Engine GO!" is sooo Logic, though) 7. Lock It Up 8. I Will 9. Never Love Again (shoulda got X-Tina or Demi on it) 10. You Gon' Learn 11. Godzilla 12. Those Kinda Nights (a better Farewell and has an actual decent singer on the hook...I think Farewell would make a better single though) 13. Farewell (would have been better with a singer on the hook, but this is good for radio)
#NotAFan: 14. Marsh (beat is sloppy and cheap) 15. Leaving Heaven 16. In Too Deep(see Marsh) 17. Stepdad (nope)

Little Engine, I'm so sorry, sweetie. I underranked you. Same with You Gon' Learn. I---
Anyway, I have spent a LOT of time with this and I will now say it is right behind his top 3 (1. Marshall Mathers LP, 2. The Eminem Show, and 3. The Slim Shady LP). At first, I thought maybe it would be behind Encore but...nope. That was when he started to go off the rails and even THEN, he STILL remained the #GOAT. But, yeah, this album has the most replay value and songs that I find myself humming or wanting to hear them randomly. The last several albums have had songs that were so strong that I was willing to overlook the filler around it, but this album, track for track, is the best he has done since his prime. I don't know what he tapped into, but if he is going to continue rapping, he would be wise to continue this formula. At least he can let up off the critics' necks next album.
1. Darkness 2. No Ragrets 3. Little Engine 4. Unaccomodating 5. You Gon' Learn 6. Premonition (Intro) 7. Yah Yah 8. Lock It Up 9. Godzilla 10. Leaving Heaven 11. I Will 12. Never Love Again 13. Those Kinda Nights 14 Farewell 15. Marsh 16. In Too Deep 17. Stepdad

"Lose Yourself" is still iconic to date. One of Eminem's best songs for me in my opinion.

Why drag Recovery when Relapse is right there? (And Revival too lbh).

Right?
Though Revival isnβt a bad album by any means I donβt think. But recovery though, it has No Love, and the song with Pink, and the other gems scattered throughout. I havenβt listened to it in ages and now I want to.
Iβd say Relapse is the only album I never need to go back to. All the others have stuff to offer.

His last 6 albums imo:
Recovery > Music To Be Murdered By > Kamikaze > The Marshall Mathers LP 2 > > > Relapse > Revival

Recovery had the space song, 25 to Life, Cinderella Man, other songs I cannot recall. SO much filler and was the start of him and all these pop crossovers he keeps trying to do. Revival did it better. On the newest album, the only one he has is Ed Sheeran and he was smart to keep it as a song recalling his D12 days, so it's tolerable. Love The Way You Lie is overrated. Relapse was at least dark and clever. I definitely liked it at the time, even if I don't listen to it now.

Watching the performance last night, Loose Yourself does not sound dated at all. The audience loved it and sang along. For me it was the highlight. Classic.
