Very surprising but it will be kicked out of the Top 50 by Pink.

Will it though? We have no idea what Pink's actual spins are right now, or if/when they're gonna drop off before she actually breaks top 50.

All it needs is TikTok to revive the goat scream video and this will skyrocket.

Kinda sad that all it takes for top 50 is 139 spins.

What's interesting to me is the increase in spins enough to get it to the top 50 now versus when it was initially released. Obviously, the spin threshold for top 50 now is way, way lower than what it was when Red TV came out, but it's still weird. Especially because it's been popping around the Hot AC chart for awhile now. So it makes me wonder if this has kind of always been sitting with around this many spins since the album came out and this is just a normal little bump that let it get sucked into the top 50 by chance or is it actually increasing? If it's the latter, then that makes this whole situation incredibly bizarre. However, if it's the former, then I'd be willing to bet that what we're seeing is just the stations that had IKYWT in gold rotation already and just switched to the TV version once it became available, and just by hilarious technicality, this is a "different song" in the eyes of the charts than the original, so it's allowed to appear as a current instead of a gold.
Regardless of the answer, this is just another example of funny quirks going on at the bottom of the chart due to the incredibly low spin threshold. Right there with "Shirt"'s incessant number of re-entries, "Wrapped Around Me Finger" being able to chart for 20+ weeks without ever hitting the top 40, Ava Max charting a random album track, the multiple record lows for both spin counts and AI totals, and the multiple songs that have made it to recurrent status that otherwise would have been purged in a normal looking chart environment.

Taylor's team isn't doing anything with this lol. Also, the promotion for "Anti-Hero" is definitely over. They're full on "Lavender Haze" and the tour now.

This is an interesting look into how many spins Gold songs can receive. Even if the Taylor's Versions weren't a thing, this would still probably be averaging 100 spins per week which is fascinating.

this is extra funny to me because of how incredibly dated this song sounds (assuming it's basically in line with the original), like in terms of red era singles i would've expected 22 or wanegbt to be popular recurrents before this honestly

I know it’s amusing to “follow” this, but this really is nothing more than radio stations swapping out the old version for the Taylor’s version, and thus, it skirting around recurrent rules. A hundred spins every week really doesn’t mean anything, and there are lots of old songs that get spins like this on a weekly basis but they just don’t show up on the chart. This will hover around until it goes recurrent and then we will forget about it again.

I'm sure this is nothing compared to the spins some of the other gold tracks are getting.. just think of Coldplay's Something Just Like this. I feel like I hear that 1-2 times a day no matter what CHR station I'm streaming. So even if you go conservative and assume half the panel (87 stations) is averaging 10 spins/week, that would be 870 spins and well into the top 40. I know this is off topic but I agree, very interesting to think about.

Well like 'Exile' keeping showing up in the top 50 on Hot AC before the 'Midnights' era kicked off we're here now.

They gotta stop releasing her old songs I don't understand what you mean by this. Do you mean releasing her old songs to radio? They aren't doing that. This is charting all on its own. The only single Red TV had for pop radio was the brand new Message in a Bottle. Everything else that has charted has been all on its own. Do you mean releasing the songs in general? Uh... Did you miss the entire reason of why she's doing that or do you just believe she shouldn't be trying to own her own music?

I bet it’s that they’re inconvenienced (somehow) as a chart watcher and believe that actions bigger than this chart should be dictated based on minuscule activity happening on this chart. 😂
