Getting a few spins already on Alternative, something about this sounds like this group will explode, surprised there isn’t a thread on them and this song, and if there is, apologies. Sounds like Florence, ABBA, and Kate Moss. There’s a void in music that needs to be filled with this. Unique. www.youtube.com/watch?v=pETz4IMmeDU

The group name gets my attention. If this is a debut single, it’s decoratively good.

Real instruments, Good vocals, great melody. I'll take it. Really loved that mini guitar solo too.

There is strangely, not a lot of Billboard only support for this one. It's still at #27 at Billboard and #29 at JBE. The new MB-paneled stations only account for about a fifth of the spins for this.

Interesting band. Been a lot of stories on indie blogs and UK music Press speculating they are an industry plant. All googleable. Believe a lot of this is due to then being a brand new act that didn’t come up in the standard “independent releases, touring, building a following” manner. They emerged already with a global deal on Island and represented by powerful QPrime management (Metallica, Muse, Black Keys, Cage the elephant etc). Of course what matters most is the music.

Heard another song of theirs' today, "Sinner", it was just as good.
They seem like they have what it takes to be an "IT" band pretty soon here with relatively zero promotion stateside so far. I'm a bit surprised AAA is taking them in and not Alt...yet.

That would make sense, however, they seem to be pretty well liked out of the gate, and deserve it. They are different, sound good, always nice to have a female-driven rock band rise on the charts.

Top 5 on AAA: 8 5 THE LAST DINNER PARTY Nothing Matters 594 549 45 1.276 AAA is such a strange chart, thought this song was dead and here we are with LDP (deservingly so) climbing to the top of the chart. Can’t say I’m surprised, this group seems to have the “IT” factor.

Would be cool to see this go #1, but I don't think it's likely with all the new big name releases.

Good for this and Last Dinner Party for hitting top 5.
I, for one, am tired of mediocre (at best) songs from well-past-their-prime artists who emerged before the Internet became widespread dominating the top 5 so listening to this every so often was quite a refresher/breather.
More music from actual 21st Century artists in the top 10, pretty please.

Monster spin drops. R R THE LAST DINNER PARTY Nothing Matters 1012 1894 -882 1.096 Sinner is also collapsing on AAA quickly. I think the label wants to send a single to both formats at the same time. We should find out what it is in April.
