Her recent single is disco like Future Nostalgia. Movie soundtracks are not an indication of what her new era will be. What will her next album sound like?
Trance/Eurodance: This seems to be doing well internationally with Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding. I think Dua would perform well if she went with this route.
Afrobeat: Even though this may be controversial, the afrobeat movement is thriving right now and Dua might try to incorporate it in her new album.
Hyperpop: Not fully but she might take some influence from the genre.
Disco: This is a lazy but a safe option for Dua since this sound is the peak of her music career.

Dua has been in the studio with Danny L Harle, so a mix between Caroline Polachek's latest album Desire, I Want to Turn Into You and hyperpop is a strong possibility at this point. "Dance the Night" is only a bridge between Future Nostalgia and her upcoming third album, like it was "Swan Song" to her self-titled debut album and the former.

She should try evolving around funk.
