Rumours have been that she might return a bit to a country sound. Are these rumors from Twitter? Oh wait, it might have been country meets indie or something. Either way, it was from this guy so idk how reliable he is. I just statted following but he seems to have some scoops

I mean if you guys buy this before she drops a complete edition at this point it's your fault for engaging into her business tactics. She's not even the only act doing that actually so save your coins.
Excited to hear. I hope it's not a return tonthe folkmoreverse though.

My favorite TS album gets her the 4th album of the year win. Midnights is so deserving and truly stands as a cohesive body of work. AND we got a new album announcement. Couldn’t be happier.

I'm kinda glad she won. No one else came close to what she achieved this past year.

This is WILD! I caved and pre-ordered. And I’ll buy the deluxe too. She’s just killing it.

Where does she find the time to write and record while she’s on tour??? By the way, her website just crashed She mentioned it's been a 2 year secret, so she likely wrote/recorded quite a bit of it before going on tour. When did she record midnights then?

You're Losing Me was recorded on December 5, 2021 and I believe about 1/3 of the album was recorded around that date.

Midnights was recorded around 2021 to 2022.
This was recorded 2022 to 2024. Considering she can do something like "You're Losing Me" in a day, not a stretch that she did this while working for the rerecordings.

When I realized that 2025 was the Year of the Snake I thought Taylor might wait to release Rep TV until then, but the main reason I'm sure is that she just writes so much. She didn't want this project to be held back anymore.
I also speculated that the color for TS11 would be white, so this seems to be the case here.

Congratulations on the wins!!! Super surprised about AOTY, but deserved.
On a side note, as a mega fan of both, I was so happy to see Celine and Taylor coming together again for a Grammy event and was so disappointed that Taylor not only didn't hug Celine, but didn't even acknowledge her, which is really odd and disrespectful considering she pretty much acknowledged everyone else and hugged the former presenters on stage. It played very disrespectful ngl. Yeah, backstage pics I guess, but wth? The last time Taylor introduced Celine, she said Celine was a huge inspiration for her so Idk what happened.

Twitter was buzzing for a minute over Taylor not embracing Celine. I get it but damn. Are people expected to be perfect 24/7? When Celine was introduced and walked on stage the camera cut to Taylor and shows her losing her shit and singing along to Celine’s song. Looking back you can see no ill intent.
Taylor was having a moment with the folks she brought on stage and someone was speaking to her the moment she grabbed her award as she turned her head back to respond. Her attention was divided. Backstage she probably realized she didn’t get an opportunity to embrace Celine and say hello so she did. This situation is no different than going to a party and saying hello to everyone and missing one person because someone else was talking to you. What do you do? Circle back, apologize and say hello.
The world would be so much better if we all extended a little grace and stopped getting upset about everything little thing—as if we ourselves do everything perfectly!

So excited for TTPD and I can't wait to listen to it. I always thought TS11 was next and I'm glad I was right
We are so spoiled when it comes to new music from her and I love it

The April release date is interesting. The previous April release date for her was in 2021, so it's possible she could have a similar release schedule this year.
Fearless (Taylor's Version) | April 9, 2021 Red (Taylor's Version) | November 12, 2021
The Tortured Poets Department | April 19, 2024 The Eras Tour Finale Vancouver, BC December 6–8 TBA | Friday, December 13, 2024?

She's not even the only act doing that actually so save your coins. I mean, if you collect vinyl, years later the 3 am tracks are still unavailable and at this point may never be available. If you saved your coins waiting for that, then, well, I guess you wouldn't have spent any money so good for you? (And even if you do CDs, only some of the bonus tracks were available in a limited-print run.)

So happy she won Album Of The Year. Also so happy I was able to snag the limited edition CD and the vinyl.

Taylor is a lunatic. Was not expecting this (but also was expecting a SZA AOTY win, so...what do I know?) Anyway, pulled the trigger so quickly on the vinyl. I'll probably get the Target CD when it drops.

Not crazy about the long title, really sticks out from the rest of her discography, but I’m excited to hear what direction she’s going in for this one. I presume she’ll stick to her new no-lead-single formula so we’ll just have to find out in April!

I think it's insane how I embarked on this journey (also known as the Taylor Swift cinematic universe) about 12 years ago now, not knowing that Taylor would go on to release this many albums and become the most active pop star in the scene, in addition to becoming one of the most successful and appreciated artists of all time. Now I don't care that much about the numbers, but I do enjoy the fact that I'm constantly being fed with new music, videos and all sorts of content.
This new project looks super promising. Maybe this is what we thought Midnights was gonna be. I could see this album having a sophisticated, sexy, vulnerable aura not too far from the works of Lana, Mitski and (earlier) Jessie Ware. Though the title hints at another folk record, I expect The Tortured Poets Department to be more sensual and follow the maturity of evermore (& to a lesser extend Midnights) thematically.
However, I have to say that I'm gonna need her to take a second and rest for a moment. While the mass releases don't seem to hurt her at all, it feels like none of these albums (even the re-recordings) get the chance to shine and the schedule is always packed. The tour alone is a big deal and it could've concluded in a more quiet way. I'm beyond excited for this album but I think a break should come soon.

While she has the world wrapped around her finger, it’s cool getting to see her do what she wants. This is the time to do a super risky album, and it looks like that may be what she’s going for.
Based on title and cover, for some low key pop bops like Delicate, Cardigan, CIWYW, YOYOK, lavender haze, but mature adult and sexy

Mitski is immediately what came into my mind when I saw the title and cover. I think that would be a great sound for Taylor. I can also seeing this having a VERY old school country vibe I do agree that she needs to take a break. I'm not surprised at all that she's releasing a new album before the final 2 re-recordings giving the pattern, as well as the fact we all know she has PLENTY to write about recently, and I always trust she knows what she's doing and won't overkill herself. Plus if she does plan on settling down one day and maybe raise a family, may as well maximise her success now while she can

As much as I want her to work with a different producer, pretty sure Jack A is part of the package now. I do hope he tries some new tricks though. Whoever mentioned Mitski is a step in the right direction. Excited to hear what this new era brings. I wish the title was a little cleaner, it feels kinda clunky to me.

The imagery is kind of giving Folklore's cousin who lives in the city.
I'd be here for dream pop.

That cover is giving lush dream-pop, but who even knows at this point, lol. I don't really care about the direction tbh. All I want are stronger melodies, I feel like she's gotten increasingly talk-singy with Jack (which is the main reason I want him out).
