I like what she did to the setlist. She cut the right songs imo and it’s smart to combine the folklore/evermore sets into one since she added an entire TTPD set which is sonically close to those two albums. I’m glad she kept all of the hits.

My only real criticism is cutting Long Live. It’s just such a moment and fan favorite. Tolerate It hurts too. The rest I get. Still I would much rather have cut one song from Midnights like Mastermind or (don’t shoot me) Lavender Haze, or a single from Red to include Long Live instead. It was missing from the beginning as a permanent part of the set list (personally, switching Mastermind for You’re on Your Own Kid also would be the right move).
The TTPD list is pretty perfect though.

One interesting thing is the show actually seemed to run about 20 mins shorter? Obviously not saying that’s the bad thing as it still over 3 hours and the show of our lifetime/ever.
So I have to get tickets and go again now. I love her.

She cut all of my favorite album cuts in favor of TTPD songs which sucks for me since I really wanted to hear them live. However, the new set doesn't seem rushed and she sounds good.

Would have preferred Long Live and Tolerate It over Vigilante Shit and Mastermind but what can I do? It's otherwise pretty close to perfect (I'm a little surprised she's doing So High School over Guilty as Sin but I suppose you need a Travis song lol).

I’m for sure going again.
Cutting ‘tolerate it’ hurts. 💔 but I understand.

I very last minute secured a ticket in Paris ('only' 200 EUR for much better seats than I had in NJ) so I am PSYCHED, but it is a bit of a blood bath. Losing The Archer, Tolerate It, 'Tis The Damn Season while keeping YNTCD is a choice! But I get that those are all down tempos that don't keep the energy moving, etc. The biggest crime is no Guilty As Sin, but maybe I'll luck out and we'll get it as a surprise song.

No Guilty As Sin? The Last Great American Dynasty and Tolerate It gone? But YNTCD, Mastermind, Vigilante Trash and Bejewelled staying?! Otherwise I need it to be Liverpool NOW!!

I know most people don't like "Vigilante Shit" but it's one of my favorites from 'Midnights' so I am glad it's sticking around on the tour.

Really enjoying the clips I've been seeing of the TTPD set so far, especially WAOLOM? and ICDIWABH. Fortnight is cute too.

Yes would have loved to see The Archer, Tolerate It, and Tis over a handful of other songs. Definitely sad to see those go before the London show. On a positive note, TTPD set looks pretty sick 👍🏽
I actually feel like Taylor is an exception where she doesn’t have to really play all the uptempo songs. Her audience knows her catalog and loves her slower/deeper songs that many other artists’ audiences might not care to hear in concert.

I love the new set so much - I wish we got more of “So High School” because it’s a favorite but that’s nit picky. It being included at all is a pleasant surprise.
I’m still mad “The Archer” made the proper set over “Paper Rings” so I wasn’t too sad to see it cut.

I know most people don't like "Vigilante Shit" but it's one of my favorites from 'Midnights' so I am glad it's sticking around on the tour. Yeah, same. "Vigilante Sh*t" is "Bad Blood" 2.0, even with the replication of the hate boner people have for it. To me, I loved both upon first listen and appreciated the different sound they gave to their parent albums. They show that vindictive, darker side of Taylor we get glimpses of from time to time, the side that, in part, exemplified what people loved about Reputation era Taylor. Now to most they might seem a bit tame and subdued, but they were about as edgy as Taylor was getting at the time. Are they the most well-written songs in their respective albums, absolutely not, but I look at them like the Michael Bay productions of their album: not some artistic marvel, but just good, simple, entertaining fun. They have their place in Taylor's catalog too. Plus, "VS" adds the sultry, grown, sexy element to the show that only elevates it overall. It's needed IMO.

For the most part she cut the right songs. I think she could have given one from Midnights over to TTPD or Folklore.

EDIT: I deleted the referenced tweet lol. My copy of the “Fortnight” CD arrived damaged today

I wouldn't be surprised if she's sitting on single #2 until the Drake/Kendrick feud blows over. She was probably anticipating a fairly quiet May with a few easy weeks at #1. Watch her drop the next video at an upcoming Friday tour date in the next month.
