I didn’t cop this as a single choice from the jump, but this is a dazzling number. You can feel the electricity throughout the song.

It’s fairly unconventional for a mainstream hit, but I agree it is one of the catchier on the album. With Taylor’s name it could probably work. Would be amazing to see Florence with a big hit, but I’d still prefer BDILH as the 3rd single. Unless she had zero plans to do a big video for a 3rd single, then maybe this instead since BDILH needs a big video. if this era somehow went 4 singles deep, this would be my pick for 4th. |

It’s a very boring album overall sonically, I really can’t see an argument for otherwise. I think that’s part of why the chorus and bridge here are one of the catchier moments on the album. |

Easily the worst song on the album and one of my least favorite songs of the last...I dunno...5 Taylor albums? I don't despise it as much as I did when I first heard it, but overall, it's a no for me. While this doesn't torpedo the chance of this being her best album, it tries.

My local station (Wild 95.5 in West Palm Beach, FL) has been playing this consistently since release and treating it like her new single. I’ve actually heard them play it more than "Fortnight." Wondering if other Florida stations are doing the same.
