Looks like Christina may be doing a James Brown tribute... Grammys to include James Brown tribute LOS ANGELES, Feb. 8 (UPI) -- A tribute to soul icon James Brown during the 49th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles will feature Smokey Robinson, Lionel Ritchie and a surprise artist. Brown -- a three-time Grammy winner -- died Dec. 25 of pneumonia at 74. Grammy officials won't reveal who will sing "It's a Man's Man's Man's World," but they say it won't be Michael Jackson, Theenvelope.com said. Officials said they asked Jackson. But they included several restrictions about a possible appearance, so the invitation was declined. The Grammy awards ceremony airs Sunday on CBS. www.dailyindia.com/show/112491.php/Grammys-to-include-James-Brown-tribute------- IT DIDN'T FIT LIKE A GLOVE: One of the centerpiece moments for the show this year is a tribute to the late James Brown. There will be performances of some of Brown's hits by Smokey Robinson, Lionel Ritchie and a surprise big-name artist who will rise from the floor of the stage singing "It's a Man's, Man's, Man's World." We can tell you who won't be there: Producers of the show approached Michael Jackson's camp a few weeks ago with an invitation to be the one in the climatic spotlight during the tribute to Brown, who Jackson has hailed as his greatest personal music hero. The offer, though, came with some strings: Jackson would have to stay strictly in the rigid plan for the number and he wouldn't be speaking, presenting and he would have to be mindful of rehearsal schedules and structures. In the end, it just didn't happen. So who will be the one rising through the floor? Well, despite selected Brown song, it ain't no other man.theenvelope.latimes.com/awards/grammys/env-07grammy-boucher-8feb8,0,308470.story?coll=env-home-headlines

Christina would do well doing James Brown but I'd rather her either promote B2B with Candyman or blow the house down with Mercy On Me.

From Beyonce forum It was announced on an official Grammy Awards commercial on the radio that Beyonce and Shakira will in fact perform together...Kelly Rowland was at the pre-grammy thing where all the radio shows are in one room(i don't kno the correct term lol) and she talked about her new single "like this" w/ eve and they asked her about bee and she said she was there to see her perform at the Grammy's and that there was a HUGE surprise...I guess the premiere of "beautiful liar" is the surprise.
