So, where are the next five songs?? #71 still has yet to be guessed correctly.Β But I guess I wil move on.Β After all, dinner is almost ready.Β You know, time to eat or time to d.. ;) 70) First of two solo hits by this then new R&B songstress.Β The video features lots of artists on the label out in a park. Ashanti - Happy69) Think of Sin City and you'll get this one hit wonder. Dirty Vegas - Days Go By68) This artist I think holds the record for longest rise of a song to #1 on the pop chart.Β This was his new hit in 2002 that had a miuch quicker rise and fall. Eagle Eye Cherry - Feels So Right67) I guess affirming his music wasn't good enough for this guy.Β He had to go out and get a solo career. Darren Hayes - Insatiable66) The artist from #70 is on this tune, but in a featured role.Β The lead "singer" is one whose name actually uses the initials of his real name. Ja Rule f/ Ashanti - Always On Time65) I think the reason this 90s band's video didn't do better on VH-1 is that it was from a live session on VH-1.Β The band claimed they were making a new video for the song, but I never saw it. Goo Goo Dolls - Big Machine64) When I first heard this song, I thought it was on a Hot AC station and I thought it was an 80s tune.Β But it wasn't - it was new music by this LA band. Dakota Moon - Looking For A Place To Land63) This song has an artist that was featured on the pop hit "Smile" in 1999. No Doubt f/ Lady Saw - Underneath It All62) Four rappers join up on this tune which I guess is a response to another hit? P. Diddy, Loon, Ginuwine, & Mario Winans - I Need A Girl pt. 261) This artist made up lots of words in this #1 pop and RHY hit.Β It was also a very strong recurrent for the artist. Mary J. Blige - Family Affair

71) Your Body Is A Wonderland/John Mayer No that was already guessed correctly for another clue. I'm surprised no one got #71 yet. Do I have to give another clue again? Well, don't give up! It ain't over til it's over! :)

70--Ashanti, Foolish 67--Darren Hayes, Insatiable 66--Ja Rule f/ Ashanti, Always On Time 62--Down 4 U, by The Inc (the 4 being Irv Gotti, Ja Rule, Ashanti and Charlie Baltimore)?? 61--Eminem, Lose Yourself You got 67 & 66 right. 70 is the right artist, wrong song. 62 is not Down 4 U.Β That song missed my top 100.Β Think of another record company though and its leader. 61 is not Lose Yourself.Β That song is yet to come.Β The words the singer made up are words like "hateration" and "holleration". 65 & 64 haven't been guessed yet.Β So I'll give some easier clues. 65) This band qualifies for the category "#1 or not top 10" when it comes to their singles on pop radio. 64) Think of what an airplane might try to do if it were in distress.

71) Lenny Kravitz - Dig In 70) Ashanti - Happy 61) Mary J. Blige - Family Affair Those are all correct. You're right, I forgot about that. When I said the artist grew up in a small town, I was referring to one of his hits from the 1980s. Just think of that artist's name and then a duet in 2001/2002, and you should get it.

New clues to help on those left:
65) In 2002, this band dropped new music for the first time since they were walking down Broadway in 2000.Β When their first single fell short of the top 10 on pop radio, this followup was almost certainly doomed to failure, and it did fail.
64) The name of this band sounds like something a Native American would say about the night sky on a particular sky.Β The song also made a weak showing on AC and Hot AC.

65--Goo Goo Dolls, Here Is Gone! I like your Broadway clue for that one... 64--Hoobastank, Running Away?? I don't know, that name just sounds weird and maybe it sounds like a Native American word? It doesn't sound 80's to me though. Oh well, it's worth a try... ???
BTW, I didn't know I Need A Girl Pt. 2 had 4 rappers. Diddy, Ginuwine, Loon, and ?

#65 is indeed Goo Goo Dolls - Big Machine.
Still no one for #64. OK, time to make it real simple. I'll give clues for the band's name. You can get the song from there:
North __________ borders Montana. Werewolves come out when there is a full _______.

Now that we have gotten all of those, let's move on!
60) This artist couldn't say no no no to a solo career, and it paid off with this top 10 hit. Kelly Rowland - Stole
59) Second hit for this Christian rock band gone mainstream.Β It was the lead single off of their new album. Lifehouse - Spin
58) First of two hits by this now "flava of 2004".Β This song became the #1 urban hit for all of 2002. Usher - U Don't Have To Call
57) This chart hit had nearly a 2 year hiatus from the chart before it rentered in 2002 and climbed into the top 20 once again. LeAnn Rimes - Can't Fight The Moonlight
56) In the video for this song, the artist is featured in what looks like some national park with large red rocks. Britney Spears - I'm Not A Girl, Not Yet A Woman
55) 1st of two hits by this comeback artist in 2002.Β The song shares a title with a recent Mary J. Blige hit. Kylie Minogue - Love At First Sight
54) Another holdover from 2001.Β It's by a group that had tremendous success in the past on my chart and the radio charts.Β This was their last hit to make both radio and my chart. Backstreet Boys - Drowning
53) If you know #54, then just choose one member of that group and a mediocre performing pop single that went top 10 on my chart. Nick Carter - Help Me
52) A song that came out in the latter part of 2002 but raced up my chart to obtain enough points to make it this high.Β The song is from an album named after a road in the artist's hometown. Eminem - Lose Yourself
51) After teaming up with Ms. Affleck, this rapper decided to bust out a single of his own.Β This single featured another minor R&B star. Ja Rule f/ Case - Livin' It Up
Good luck! :)

Nice work! All of the guesses were correct except #59. As much as the rumors indicate, Creed never officially declared themselves as a Christian band. Though their music had religious undertones, their mission was not consistent with that Christian artists specifically set forth, and Scott Stapp proclaimed many times Creed was not a Christian band.
That said, think of another Christian rock band that made a crossover to mainstream in 2001 with a mega-hit.

Ok, here goes with some more help.
59) Who is Stanley and why did he climb a mountain?
56) This song was featured in a movie starring the singer.
51) This artist currently has a song that has debuted on the RHY chart with two other R&B stars that he has previously worked with.Β This song was this rapper's first top 10 CHR hit.

51--Ja Rule f/ Ashanti, Always On Time...but what's up with Ashanti being referred to as a 'minor R & B star"? That's not right, that's why! ;) In the song, the featured artist's major contribution were the lines "What I do" and "what u do".

Ok ok folks. Still got two more to guess, and they are not really that hard.
59) This band was already on the countdown earlier with a track from their first album. This is the debut single from their second album, which went top 30 on pop radio.
56) The song is one that many teenage girls would probably sing because they are stuck in those in between years.

Hurray!Β You got them right!Β Time to move on to the top 50!
50) Second hit by this young artist on the countdown.Β The song has the same title as a drama series starring a down syndrome child in the late 80s/early 90s. LeAnn Rimes - Life Goes On
49) ulij20 would not be happy with this song being this high on the chart.Β It's one of the few top AC songs for 2002 that was not on his countdown. Enrique Iglesias - Hero
48) This band has unfortunately become a one hit wonder on pop radio, but not on alternative radio.Β The video for this song takes place at a loud house party. Jimmy Eat World - The Middle
47) Singer/songwriter with a guitar that sang this tune while on the beach and surfing in the video. Sheryl Crow - Soak Up The Sun
46) An artist most popular in the late 80s but still an AC favorite.Β This single was the lead single off of the artist's new release in 2002 that climbed to #1 on AC late in 2002. Phil Collins - Can't Stop Loving You
45) One version of this hip-hop/R&B song actually had a clip of the original version of this cover with the original artist. Mario - Just A Friend (2002)
44) If you're not the one to get this artist's first pop hit, then you may be missing an easy clue! Daniel Bedingfield - Gotta Get Thru This
43) I charted the original version of this song from this boyband's last album, though radio stations mainly played a remixed version with a rap star. *N Sync - Girlfriend
42) Second song for this late 90s blockbuster pop band.Β It was the lead single off their new album. Goo Goo Dolls - Here Is Gone
41) The last top 40 pop hit for this rock band that many people still think are a Christian rock band, but the lead singer continually denies that. Creed - One Last Breath
