Well, there actually was more further down on the chart, but I decided to cut off the guessing game to 100, because perhaps it would be easier. It all depends on familiarity. So far, it begins with these:
100. "they're baby's daddies/out having fun"
099. "gives me such a worried mind" 098. "drown out your sounds/all across the world"
097. "fumbling his confidence/and wond'ring why the world has passed him by"
096. "you can see it but you know it's there"
095. "from the fields where I had lost my way"
094. "a poem that described her world" 093. "Shreds of skin are in the sweet sunlight"
092. "she's got a mission and I'm collateral damage"
091. "so glad to see you well"

96. A Perfect Circle - The Nurse Who Loved Me
I'll just assume all the rest are VAST songs that I haven't heard ;).

Correct. I'll just assume all the rest are VAST songs that I haven't heard ;). Then guess one of those, because there is actually one in here.

Right position for my clue, wrong song title. I will give more clues when others have been answered.
I'm particularly waiting for #99 and #98 to be answered first. They were both singles.

Nicholas2.0's guess is correct.
Both incorrect guesses so far will appear later in here.
#99 is currently on my chart. #98 never had an adds date. #95: Think Eastern ideal, as a synonym. #94 made my chart last year. From what I know, Nicholas2.0 would be most likely to get this one since I know he got a burned copy of the album it comes from. #93 is from a soundtrack to a 2003 movie. It also happens to be from an actress. This artist simply uses her first name when recording music.

Actually, it's not that one either. The particular song just recently reached its peak. One thing it also has in common with the other two guesses is that it's a lead single from the band's latest album.

Further clues in lyrics to the remaining 3: 098. "we are the hope to drown out your sounds/all across the world.." 094. "a poem that described her world/that put our friendship to the test" 093. "I wish I was half electronic/the last shreds of skin are in the sweet sunlight"
I can't believe it's taken so long for #98 to be answered, but I remember how a lot of people on PMB hate that song. The other two songs, on the other hand, I can understand...

Alright, no one ever answered the remaining two, so I'll just give them away:
#98: Korn - "Y'all Want A Single" #93: Milla - "Rocket Collecting"

Okay, now I'm onto 90-81:
90. "This is the ____ that I envision"
89. "you no longer have to hide" 88. "when I could travel by just folding the map" 87. "a secret written in the sky"
86. "the drones work hard before we die"
85. "we met today for a reason"
84. "then tricky got me in"
83. "now that's all down the drain"
82. "victim of the Western decline"
81. "we are a brutal kind"

Alright, no one ever answered the remaining two, so I'll just give them away: #98: Korn - "Y'all Want A Single" #93: Milla - "Rocket Collecting" Goddammit, I would've gotten Korn had I just seen the extended clue in time. #84 is the only one I recognize immediately and it's "The Package" by A Perfect Circle.

Here's a few non-lyrical clues for help: I imagine friday has the best shot at #88. #86 is the oldest of the 20 revealed songs. The album it's from was released in 2001. #85 and #83 were singles. The latter even went top 10 on the pop chart. However, the other one possibly was out when radio exhausted the album's singles already.
#89 was a follow-up to the artist's top 10 pop hit that did moderately on Rhythmic.
There is currently a topic in the Alternative forum for a new song by the artist on #81.

Those are all correct.
All of them except for #87 and #90 were singles. However, if you have the album which accompanies the latter and have listened closely enough, you can get it right by filling in the blank as the song title.
#81 is from a Sub Pop band.
#85 is from one of the biggest albums of the decade. The artist has some other songs to come later. It's also from the more successful half of the album.
