First off, as always, a few things that need to be mentioned:
The Overrated List (Not trying to let personal biases get in the way here):
10. RYAN CABRERA
On the Way Down
9. BUTTERFLY BOUCHER
Another White Dash (Fefe Dobson did not have to re-name herself and release the same two songs so soon after the disappeared the first time; she is not that good)
8. EVANESCENCE
My Immortal
7. 3 DOORS DOWN
Here Without You
6. NELLY AND TIM MCGRAW
Over and Over (simply because they knew it'd be a hit with these two artists put together)
5. USHER ET AL
Yeah! (After all, not every song that sucks this much can be #1 for the year)
4. THE EAMONS
(At least everyone realizes what a loser idea this was by now, but all those spins they got collectively cannot be forgiven just yet)
3. HOOBASTANK
The Reason (see below and the Annoying List for details)
2. GREENDAY
Boulevard of Broken Dreams (they plugged into the formula and it couldn't have worked any better)
1. KANYE WEST
Through the Wire (sorry, but so undeserving of all those Grammy nods)
This year's stop-while-you're-ahead award goes to FEFE DOBSON.
A few songs that did not make the Annoying List due to being hilariously bad:
5. Gwen Stefani - What Are You Waiting For?
4. Three Days Grace - I Hate Everything About You/Just Like You (There's not enough of a difference for these to be considered separate songs)
3. KoRn - Word Up
2. Nitty - Nasty Girl
1. Nickelback - Feelin' Way Too Damn Good
Now for the disclaimer:
Any song that I heard at least once last year, qualifies. If a song that I've said is horrible doesn't appear on here, that's because there was so much crap this year. I've had to pare this list down multiple times to get 50, and I've just cut off some of the lighter F's as well as some of the ones I don't remember that well. For the first time, everything on the list is F range and the majority of these are F-minus or worse.
And now, without further ado,
