57. Seether feat. Amy Lee - Broken 53. Snoop Dogg feat. Pharrell - Drop It Like It's Hot Nice work! :) 55. Relient K - Who I Am Hates Who I've Been No sorry, that's not right. The song I am thinking of may make people think of *N Sync or Switchfoot. And no one has even touched #56. Maybe I'll just let others ponder over it just a lil' bit. ;)

55. Scott Stapp - "The Great Divide" (?) No that's not right. The song I am looking for was the lead single off a Christian artist's latest album. This artist had a lot of momentum before on Christian radio.

56. 50 Cent - Disco Inferno (and it's not a hot The Trammps remake, either).

No, I meant the Bee Gees didn't sing "Disco Inferno", the Trammps did.
Didn't Krypton get #57?

Well, this should be a dead giveaway, but I can't think of the artist still.

No, I meant the Bee Gees didn't sing "Disco Inferno", the Trammps did. Oh, my bad. ;) Yes, I forgot to update the post. Thanks.
The artist already had another song on the countdown.

Oh yeahhh... Tobymac - Gone for #55. Forgot about that one, probably because it didn't do well at all.

Matt gets another shot and gets the right answer! Woohoo! Here are the next ten:
50) Even though this group changed one of the words for their leadoff single, some stations still played two other radio edits: one with another word to censor the "bad word" and the other entirely skipping the word. Black Eyed Peas - Don't Phunk With My Heart (Matt4319)
49) Special K, anyone? Collective Soul - Better Now (Matt4319)
48) CS: This artist definitely proved he was here to stay. This song, the lead single from his sophomore album, rose to #1 on the Christian CHR and AC charts and landed in the top 10 on my chart. Jeremy Camp - Take You Back (Matt4319)
47) In this song, I don't think the group was calling out to a member of the Army or Navy. Destiny's Child f/ Lil' Wayne & T.I. - Soldier (Krypton46)
46) CS: This song is by a band whose name contains the title of a one-hit-wonder song which peaked at #12 on the pop chart during the summer of 1999. The name of the song I am looking for has an indecisive title to it. Better Days Ahead - Maybe You (Krypton46) 45) For some reason, I doubt if this song would have had the same impacgt if it were entitled "331.4 m/s". Coldplay - Speed of Sound (Krypton46)
44) CS: Think Eiffel and Babel and you'll get this lead single from a Christian rock band. Kutless - Strong Tower (Matt4319)
43) This was one of the songs on pop radio that just refused to die once it started falling on the pop chart. It's by a band that was pretty much alternative exclusively but broke through the crossover barrier with this song. Papa Roach - Scars (Matt4319)
42) First of two songs by this teen star. In the song, the artist tries to convince his girlfriend that even if he sees other beautiful girls, no one can compare to his girlfriend. Jesse McCartney - She's No You (Lilly)
41) In one of the topics on this song, there was a controversy as to whether or not as sung in the song there should be a punctuation mark or a space between this two-word title. The title has the latter. Dave Matthews Band - American Baby (Krypton46)
Good luck!

Side note: I never figured out the clue for Michael Buble's "Home". What do two European capitals have to do with it?

47. Destiny's Child - Soldier 45. Coldplay - Speed Of Sound Those are both correct. 42. She's No You - Jesse Mcartney That is correct as well. 50) Black Eyed Peas - Don't Phunk With My Heart 48) Jeremy Camp - Take You Back 44) Kutless - Strong Tower 43) Papa Roach - Scars Nice work! Those are correct too. (Note: You got beat with 42 by a couple of minutes, so I can't give that one to you.)

46. Better Days Ahead - Maybe You 41. Dave Matthew's Band - American Baby EXCELLENT job Krypton! Wow, I'm proud of you for getting Better Days Ahead! And yes, 41) was DMB. But still no one for #49 huh? The band is a veteran band from the 90s that made a comeback this year, but as expected, pop radio ignored this comeback while HAC embraced it.

Better Than Ezra? Collective Soul? None of those bands actually made comebacks, but you might have not been paying attention to their music since the 90's, I dunno. If it is any of those, I don't know what any of them have to do with Special K, so I'm still stumped.

They don't have to sell millions of records or get a #1 song to make a "comeback" necessarily. But, if you prefer, I will say "made a return." And the reference to Special K was because the song in question was used to promote the cereal on commercials.

49. Collective Soul - Better Now YES! 40) Shelley Long did a movie about a Girl-Scout-like group from this place. Weezer - Beverly Hills ( Krypton46) 39) CS: Mary J. Blige had multiple of these in 2002, but this Christian rock band only talked about one in this song. It's a song that was inspired by the "Passion of the Christ." Big Dismal - Rainy Day ( Krypton46) 38) The simplistic lyrics in this song made some of this artist's long time fans a little uncomfortable. Sheryl Crow - Good Is Good ( Krypton46) 37) CS: For you RPG fans, this song title sounds like a spell done by a Bard or maybe a White Mage. Casting Crowns - Lifesong ( Jeffster) 36) This teenage-geared anthem by a pop-punk band still hit home with me as I can relate to some of the problems expressed in the song. Simple Plan - Welcome To My Life ( Matt4319) 35) This song ended an impressive streak for this band on pop radio - they no longer fall into the "#1 or not top 10" category they were in before. 3 Doors Down - Let Me Go ( Matt4319) 34) CS: This Christian rapper, better known for his songs about a certain mainstream rapper, teamed up with a member of a Christian rock band to score this song. KJ-52 f/ The Dude From Kutless (aka Jon Micah) - Are You Real? ( Jeffster) 33) One of the most overused song titles in the 00s. At least this hit had a subtitle with it. Anna Nalick - Breathe (2am) ( Krypton46) 32) CS: This song claims that it only takes a few seconds to be closer to God. MercyMe - In The Blink Of An Eye ( Clem) 31) This artist, who really burned pop radio in 2004, had this top 3 hit this year on pop radio and on my personal chart. Usher - Caught Up ( Krypton46)

#40, #39, and #31 are correct. Hollaback Girl was not on my chart this year and never will be. I hope I never hear that song EVER again! LOL! Sorry about that, I had no clue it didn't appear on your chart. It just fit the clue so perfectly that I thought I had it. I know how you feel about that song, believe me. Anyway, I think I got another one here. 33. Anna Nalick - Breathe (2AM)

37. Michael W. Smith - "Healing Rain" 32. MercyMe - "In the Blink of an Eye" #37 is not right, but is a really good guess. You got #32 right, and Jeffster, #34 is indeed KJ-52. And for the remaining songs: 38) The first seven words of the song contains two simple phrases (connected by a conjunction) that may make some people say "duh!". 37) I put the Bard in the first clue for a reason. For those of you who don't know, a Bard's powers come from his voice...
