Since EvanJ listed "You Are Loved" first, that can be his guess and I'll take "The Riddle". 65. Five For Fighting- "The Riddle (You And I)"

EvanJ gets it! #65 is indeed Josh Groban's "You Are Loved (Don't Give Up)." The "awake" part of the last clue is, of course, the name of Josh Groban's new album.
Onward...
60) First single off of this former Christian rock band's latest album. The song is something you might say to a friend after a night out. Evanescence - Call Me When You're Sober
59) CS: This song is by a relatively new Christian pop-punk band who released their second album in 2006. This song mentions the singer's struggle with achieving perfection and a better behavior to please someone. Hawk Nelson - Everything You Ever Wanted
58) CS: Newcomer on the Christian music scene teams up with the already-well established Christian artist who discovered her for this song, which is currently charting on Christian CHR. Ayiesha Woods f/ Tobymac - Big Enough
57) CS: The title of this song is one of the most overused song titles in the last ten years for mainstream music singles. Jeremy Camp - Breathe
56) Probably one of the biggest tear-jerker songs of the year on multiple formats. The video of the song captures the final moments of a romantic relationship. Rascal Flatts - What Hurts The Most
55) CS: All-girl rock group tones it down a bit for this huge Christian CHR hit. BarlowGirl - I Need You To Love Me
54) This song's immense popularity is likely tied to a popular television show. Snow Patrol - Chasing Cars
53) CS: This is a single from a popular Christian rock band's recent worship CD. Kutless - Ready For You
52) When this single was released, I thought it would be big on the band's core format (Hot AC), but never expected it to be #1 on country! Bon Jovi w/ Jennifer Nettles - Who Says You Can't Go Home
51) CS: Perhaps this artist is talking to John Mayer? Natalie Grant - What Are You Waiting For?

#59, #58, #57, and #55 are correct, but the rest are not, although the artist for #53 is correct.
#60 P.O.D. still charts on Christian rock. The band I am mentioning completely broke ties with Christian rock radio back in 2003 and saw their-then top 10 Christian rock single tumble off the chart in a week as a result.
#54 You're on the right track showwise.
#53 Make another guess. I'll be all set for it! :)

Still not correct on #53. ;)
No one has ventured a guess for #51. It's a Christian-only song, but it is by an artist who has had other songs chart on AC radio. The John Mayer mention is to clue you into his latest song. Think of a question...
And still no guesses for #56? I'm hurt... really I am. ;)

Right on #53, but not #51. The title of John Mayer's first single off his latest album would be a response to this question title for #51.

51. "What Are You Waiting For," Natalie Grant YES!!! Finally! But still need #56. Let's recap the clues: (1) The song is a tear-jerker; i.e., slow and heartfelt. In this case, as I mentioned, the video captures this with the death of someone's fiance. (2) The song has charted on multiple formats. In particular, it charted on pop, AC, Hot AC... oh yeah, and country. ;) (3) The last clue I gave actually has part of the title of the song in it. Here's one more clue: The song is still charting on AC (I know, what a shock... ).

56. "What Hurts the Most," Rascal Flatts Clem takes another swing and gets a base hit! Nice work (finally!). Onto the top 50 now folks! I'll start counting down only 5 at a time now. 50) The singer of the song says he wants to make sure he doesn't revert to his former self in this top 40 hit on more than one radio format. Relient K - Who I Am Hates Who I've Been49) CS: The title of this song were the words that people in Gloucester, MA were hoping not to hear in October/November 1991. Jimmy Needham - Lost At Sea48) When a topic for this song opened in the pop forum, someone asked if this band was going to be talking about sex. Obviously this person (a) hadn't heard the song and (b) may have forgotten what the core format this band is from is. ;) Switchfoot - We Are One Tonight47) Fun times at the roller skating rink! Jessica Simpson - A Public Affair46) CS: This song is from a band that might make you want to know where the A-side is. This song was their second single from their latest album to chart on the Christian CHR chart. Storyside:B - Everything & More

50. "Who I Am Hates Who I've Been," Relient K (?) 47. "A Public Affair," Jessica Simpson 46. "Everything and More," StorySide:B Those are all correct! Here's a couple of more hints for the remaining ones. 49) The reference made is from a true event captured in a popular movie in 2000 starring George Clooney and Mark Wahlberg. 48) This band is no stranger to mainstream radio. In 2003/2004, the band scored huge hits on pop, HAC, and alternative radio. Of course, they have been around much longer than that on another radio format.

Yes on 48, no on 49 (though that does somewhat fit the clue). For #49, think of a new artist with a big scoring single on the Christian CHR chart. By the way, the artist is currently charting on Clem's personal chart (with another song). ;)

^YES! Onto the next 5.
45) This artist has been on the decline since his debut hit on the pop chart in 2004/2005. This was his lead single from his latest album that peaked in the 20s on pop. Jesse McCartney - Right Where You Want Me
44) CS: A duo that had two very minor hits on pop radio over the last year or so, but this single strictly went to Christian CHR and made it into the top 15 on that format. Aly & A.J. - Never Far Behind
43) After this single, the artist's first solo single in a couple of years, the artist tried to remake a classic early 90s ballad with the band that recorded the original. It was a flop radio single. Mary J. Blige - Be Without You
42) CS: The name of this new pop-rock band has to do with something needed to survive out there in the "jungle." This was their debut single. Fighting Instinct - Back To You
41) Everyone knows there's no such thing as a "junior curse" on pop radio. John Mayer - Waiting On The World To Change

Right on 44, no on 45, but that guess is somewhat close. Some think that the artist for #45 got his big jump on pop radio thanks to a short-lived teen drama.

I guess my clue threw you off, or maybe it put you exactly in the spot that I desired. ;) You may want to check another one of the clues I gave (not #45), however. One of them has a not-so-veiled reference to an artist's former hit.

Time for more hints!
45) The show I mentioned in the last clue also featured a former cast member of Full House.
43) This single hit #1 on pop, RHY, Urban, and Urban AC.
42) The band claims that if they find their way, love will be strong and brand new.
41) Before releasing his junior album, where this single comes from, this artist released a single as part of a three-man band.

43 is 'Be Without You' by Mary J. Blige.
