Here are some random thoughts - I love "Miss You" by Aaliyah, but last week I noticed the birds humming at various points throughout the song and it's so annoying! LOL! - In the remix of "Officially Missing You" by Tamia, I HATE the rapper that keeps talking in the song. I especially hate the part where he says "guitars man", that pisses me off for some reason. Just like in "Like I Love You" by JT, where he says "drums".. - "Trouble" by Pink really isn't good - "Trouble" by Coldplay is GREAT! It should have been a big hit - If Britney keeps up her gains, she'll be top 10 by next week, that's sad :( - The Matrix are overrated. - "Frontin'" should be HUGE. It's the best song. Why is it getting so little airplay? - Metallica's new album is underrated. - I'm sick of all the R&B/rap clapping songs - FreakyFlyBry is a cool guy! - Snoop Dogg is the man! - ah... - cool - LOL! - what? - I'll think of more later

I hope Mariah's next album is actually good. That's my one wish. ...and for some success, either commercially or critically.

-Go see KILL BILL!! Sure, so it's not music but Tarantino movies always have good music in it and they are always brilliant. Good music and brilliance...why, that's a winning combination. :o

-I think Chantal Kreviazuk's "Julia" is a masterpiece. I wonder if she met Julia Stiles before? I hope Chantal gets to see the talented Stiles in "Mona Lisa Smile" out this Winter!

- In the remix of "Officially Missing You" by Tamia, I HATE the rapper that keeps talking in the song. I especially hate the part where he says "guitars man", that pisses me off for some reason. Just like in "Like I Love You" by JT, where he says "drums".. I agree with you on that wholeheartedly. I know that it's part of their musical creativity, but it cringes me to a bite to ever hear them talk in the song where it actually ruins the whole arrangement. Remixes tend to get really different from the original version in order for that same song to go to the next level. My other random thoughts musically: Mariah Carey will rebound gracefully with her new album although I've yet had a chance to listen to it, thanks to Josh the return of Tony Toni Tone. I hope that it's in the same old school style as it has been too many rap collaborators (if you put about a hundred of them in there, it would somehow be impossible to print it all in bold print on a CD unless you shrink them down to a size 8 font)--narrow it down to none (just my opinion) more real R&B stars, please! The good ones are on the verge of being a dying breed. radio stations -- LOSE THE DAMN CONSULTANTS. Hip-hop has taken over in droves and your consultants are the blame! Let the people, your listeners, have a choice (yeah, like the corporate pigs will read this!). At leaast we'll have a variety that we can listen to. Make room for more deserving and promising new artists. The underrated are getting fed up with playing second fiddle to some under-talented, overhyped superstar. The real equal to music is total diversity. Hip-hop performers should move on to another subject matter, besides club scenes, exploitation of women, pimpin' lifestyles and worldly pleasures. True it's all done in fun, but how can you define fun? But that's a "whole 'nother topic." There has been some rap tunes that do bring positive messages, but 75% of the time ends up ignored--25% recieved. These are my random thoughts in a form of my opinion, people. Relish it.

A serious question... -Whatever Happened to that "Complicated" girl? Where is her Live album? her 2nd album? Oh, she's busy getting her private parts pierced, having an abortion, and sleeping with every guy in sight in order to "make an artistic statement". Is that the one you're talking about?

I noticed at the beginning of "Hollywood" by Madonna when you hear the birds, there is also a slight sound of a radio in the background.

Oh, and by the way that "Complicated" girl is named Avril, as if you didn't know that. Please stop acting like she's dying out.
