I'll just pipe up and say I'm NOT AT ALL surprised by those who are picking R. Kelly over Marvin, etc. etc. Very predictable. Christina Milian and Ciara fans UNITE! R. KELLY IS THE GREATEST OF ALL TIMES! HahahahahahahahahahahaHahahahahahahahahahahaHahahahahahahahahahahaHahahahahahahahahahahaHahahahahahahahahahaha Pop, pop, pop that thing!

Mercy Mercy Me is What's goin on part 297. So I guess there is a link between R. Kelly and Marvin Gaye....they both try to recreate their strongest hits 50million different times. Well "What's Going On" is a concept album that builds on the same theme. That's what makes it special, and it works since the album is only 35 minutes long. Both "Mercy Mercy Me" and "What's Going On" are classics that have been covered by dozens of artists.

Well if thats the case then "happy people/u saved me" is also a concept album that builds on the same thing. He did a album full of steppin grooves! And also "i believe I can fly" has been covered by other artists as well. ;)

But those doesn't work, because of the length Well, none of them were hits. And all the songs on "What's Going On" have been covered by major artists... If that doesn't make it a classic, then... Well...

"I Believe I Can Fly" was on the Popstars 2 CD! Therefore, it is the better song.

LOL This is too funny. I agree that IBICF is a song you can listen to at any time. Mercy Mercy Me is What's goin on part 297. So I guess there is a link between R. Kelly and Marvin Gaye....they both try to recreate their strongest hits 50million different times. Are you retarded? WGO and MMM were on the same album, which changes EVERYTHING. R. Kelly is repeating himself across multiple albums.

So its acceptable to recreate your strongest hits all on one album....Sorta the way Brintey Spears did on her Oops I did it again album. So Marvin Gaye and Britney Spears have alot in common. ;)

Jeez Chris are you really serious about IBICF over Marvin Gaye's What's Going On album, or are you just antagonizing us?
Personally, I stopped listening to R. Kelly after "Summer Bunnies" because really, where do you go after creating a masterpiece like that?
And I just wanna throw in another Gaye album, "Here, My Dear." Great personal stuff about his divorce.
