Nope, TEOM was 1.7m 'overseas' in week 52, has not been recertified anywhere since... It would still need to be 4m to get to 10.
COAD is more than 6m overseas, simple fact is that it's well past 4 in the EU, and has had the same reception in the other third of the world as in Europe, with 500K in Japan alone, 210K in Oz, loads in Ca as well (so we're laready almost 6m here). It had 5.3m 'overseas' in Jan 2006 (according to the iFPI) exactly when TEOM had 1.7 (same source, see BBC article from IFPI and deduct US sales!) So, you are saying that siince its week 5, COAD has shipped only 700K overseas, having shipped 5.3m in 5 weeks, while TEOM has shipped 2.3 from its week 52 having shipped 1.7 in its 52 weeks. Problem is, though, that since Jan, COAD has sipped 1+M in the EU alone(IFPI certified COAD 4plat in its third 'round' which means it shipped another 1m in the EU between jan 2006 nad May 2006, EU certifications- given the market- are usually months after the shipments are made) a few 00K in Japan, 70K in Oz, lots more in Canada, etc, etc, so, if it was 5.3 in Jan, it must now be at least 7. Plus, there was a worldwide shipment of 700K announced on 25th Jan (I don't know how much went to the Eu). Again, the same fallacy, assuming that TEOM has shipped more worldwide than COAD since Jan, while TEOM was an old album that had never had it big worldwide, while COAD was still dominating worldwide charts for months after that.... Funny how you work your percentages, COAD has had the same success in two thirds of the world market, in one of these it's 4+m, in the other it's less than 2m according to you, while alsdo has had the same reception in the EU and teh non-US rest of the world, and is certified 1m in the EU, but suddenly, 3m in the other third. Strange, because COAD topped 90% of teh charts in those coountries where you say it's sold less than the US, while TEOM has not at all (5 charts including the US is it?) Your calculations are biased. As I said, it will pass the 10m in a year or so, but so far, it's no where near there. you have clearely boosted TEOM's non-US sales, and cut COAD's non-US sales. Conservatively, COAD should be 1.8 (US), 4+ (EU) at least 3m (rest), more likely 3.5, as even 3 M would mean a smaller success than in the EU, which is niot the case. TEOM is 6m (US) 1m (EU) and about 1m (rest) it had sold less in the rest of the world than in the EU in its first year, can't have mtrebled (700K to 2m) its non E/US sales in its secod year, which is whhat it would need to get to 9m, not ten, because to get to 10, it should have quintupled its nonEU/S sales in its second year (from 700K to 3m...meaning 2.3m in year 2, 3 imes more tahn in its first year). The numbers just don't add up. But I thought I said all that before.
WARNING: If anyone comes up with the sources drivel again- check my post above witgh IFPI data, thanks, and also try to find Spooky's sources before asking me for some, thanks....

For some artists we have career totals until the end of 2005 with no missing sales. Robbie Williams, for example.
Sales figures pre-1984 are so far extremely patchy and we would need a lot more to extend the number of years covered by this list - but 22 years is a start!
