These two songs are the only songs to have charted in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Do you think anyone will cover either of them for the 2000s and that they could have a chance at charting again?
Who should do the covers?

Hmmm... interesting. Who did the versions of those songs and how did they do on the charts?

All I know is that Gloria Estefan did the one for the 90s (Everlasting Love) as the followup to 'Turn The Beat Around'. It didn't do as well as that song. Lucky to chart, I think.
UB40 did the other song. That was alittle before my chart following days tho.

"Everlasting Love":
The 60s: Robert Knight The 70s: Carl Carlton The 80s: Rex Smith w/Rachel Sweet The 90s: Gloria Estefan
"The Way You Do The Things You Do":
The 60s: The Temptations The 70s: Rita Coolidge The 80s: Hall & Oates f/David Ruffin & Eddie Kendricks The 90s: UB40
The Hall & Oates version was actually in a medley with "My Girl", but as I recall, the song was pretty much intact.

Jamie Cullum does a pretty bad cover of Everlasting Love.
