Since yesterday, whenever I signed in to the boards, every topic has the "new" label by it. It used to work out that when I signed in, only topics with replies since my last sign in were labeled "new" so I would know what the new topics were. Has any changes been made to the settings perhaps since then? Or would anyone know how to fix it?

You mean EVERY topic is new when you first come on? Just checking, because I haven't had that problem.
For me, every topic with replies since my last visit has "New" beside it, as well as topics I never looked in the first place, regardless if anyone posted in them or not since my last visit.

Okay, maybe I can help here having been on a proboards sight for over two years now...
Every now and then, older topics that haven't been updated and you've already read, will come up as "New"...I think it has something to do with cookies, that after a while the cookies saying you read said topics disappear, and thus the topics come up as "new" again...This happens to me on my other site, especially when going to look over older posts that obviously aren't new but still come up as new...
The easy thing to do is mark everything read, or just look past the whole "new" thing...

Well, I would blame it on cookies except that the computers I use when logging in here are always public computers at the university library so unless they changed their settings or something like that.

i think it has to do with the logging in... i remember when i had to log on every topic i had read and or replied to would show up as "New" simply for the fact that i had signed on... that may be it.. not sure
