You should go to the record store and sing "So Yesterday" to customers until they buy it.

none of the releases this week thrill me. it is nice to see blu doing so well overseas. since she can't get anyone to look here way over here. i am slowly (i repeat slowly) getting into so yesterday. but definitely not enough to go out and buy the cd.

The evil sun newspaper in the UK has wrote this about this weeks flops:
Sentimental old tosh, Kym
KYM MARSH’s career was last night navigating the U-bend of a toilet after her new single Sentimental entered the midweek charts at an abysmal No32.
The ex-HEAR’SAY flop star now looks a dead cert to be dropped by her record company — just as I predicted earlier this month.
Scheming Kym, who has one of the worst reputations in pop, was given one last chance by record label Universal Island to produce a hit — or face the boot.
But Sentimental has only sold an embarrassing 1,000 copies after its first day on sale.
Kym took to the stage at London’s G.A.Y club on Monday night in a desperate bid to win over the “pink pound”.
And watching from the wings was TRIPLE 8 “star” DAVID WILCOX.
He was rumoured to be dating Kym during her temporary split with former EastEnder hunk JACK RYDER.
Although Kym and David deny they are a couple, I wonder what he was doing there?
He’s certainly not gay.
But Kym is not the only struggling singer facing the chop.
DAVID ‘SNEDDERS’ SNEDDON, winner of the first Fame Academy, looks like charting at a pathetic 35 (also predicted by me) and ex TAKE THAT member MARK OWEN is currently poised at 29.
One thing’s for sure, the dole queues down in Poptown are going to be swollen come Sunday.
But don’t worry, folks, I hear McDonald’s are recruiting.
Looks like these 3 reality TV starts carrers have gone down the pan which is a shame i will be buying Kym's record later this week.
4 million people voted for David Sneddon to win Fame Academy and now he can only sell less than 1000 records in a day.
2 million people voted for Mark Owen to win Celebrity Big Brother now he can only sell 2000 records in a day.
Two years ago Kym Marsh was selling 1000 records an hour.

That Kevin Lyttle song is really good so I'm not that surprised that it may actually move up in its second week.
Meanwhile, isn't Pink as big in the UK as she is in the USA? In which case, a #9 debut for a lead single is a big disappointment there as well.

More Kym! She and Myleene should duet "Anything You Can Do (I Can Do Better)" or "Lean On Me" with Myleene playing the piano!

atomicaloud - Who's SEP? (Please stop quoting the whole chart!)
Beautiful South has another album out? I hadn't realized. I have their Greatest Hits and the Quench album. I wonder whether they're still as good as before.

Congrats to BEP for having the biggest selling single of 2003 in the UK. I'm probably mistaken when I say this though, but doesn't a single have to sell a million in order to go platinum and 500,000 to go gold?
