Any predictions as to how this song will do? Currently, "Where No One Knows Me" is #16 on AC and debuted at #24 on Hot AC. I doubt this song will hit the pop chart given the current climate of music.
Jann Arden hasn't had a huge hit since "Sleepless". The singles released off her Greatest Hurts CD had disappointing chart runs. "Love Is The Only Soldier" and the follow-ups didn't do too well either.
Here's hoping that "Where No One Knows Me" gets more widespread play.

I hear it a lot on C100 and like it too. 'Sleepless' is my favourite Jann song though. I love it. I think she's great and I think she can get back some of her success that has disappeared over the last few years. She won't be as big as she used to be but she can probably be a cancon radio staple again. Good luck to her and I'm considering the CD.

Jann has so many great songs that I'm almost glad she never had any US success so that Canada could keep her. I heard this song the other day and I really like it. It doesn't have the same affect on me that her other singles do like Sleepless and Insensitive which are my favorite tracks from her.
I hope this is successful..I hated Love Is The Only Soldier Left or whatever..blah!

Yeah, one thing that has never happened to Jann is a change of her sound into something more "mainstream" or "top 40" sounding that usually happens to artists who even try to make it big in the US. Kudos to that!

I remember hearing this somewhere, but I didn't really pay attention. I think I liked it, but I'd have to relisten to be sure. Anyone know where I can do that?

I agree about Jann. She also seems like a genuinely nice person too. She often comes into to the HotAC station in my area and fills in for some of the morning show when they're away. She seems pretty nice, and she's really funny too.
I like this song much better than anything else she's released since "Sleepless". My favorite of hers is still probably "The Sound Of...", but this one is right up there.

I've always loved, Jann. One of the few artists I can say that I've enjoyed all of their releases.
She's absolutely hilarious, too. I've listened to numerous interviews with her, and I constantly find myself laughing.
I'll agree with many that this song is better than "Love Is The Only Soldier." I don't know why, but I especially love the line about laughing like the devil... guess it's just something I can actually see her attempting.

Yay, the song is top 10 on both AC and HAC.
Too bad Pop won't play her while pouncing on Shawn Desman so quickly.
