I just borrowed Tal Bachman's "Staring Down The Sun" from a friend. I have his first album, and was wondering whether it was worth buying.
I just wanted to verify which singles he released from the album and in which order.
Was "Aeroplane" the lead single? I did a search on this board, and Scot posted back in May 2004 that "Broken" was being serviced to radio. Was "Masquerade" an official release in September of 2004? I haven't heard any of these songs on the radio, unfortunately. Were any other singles released?
On his website, it states he remixed "Aeroplane" in May 2005 and is recording one or two tracks for the US release of "Staring Down The Sun". Does anyone know when that will be? Do you think he will have much success? I'm disappointed his songs from this CD hasn't been played much in Canada. Any chance he will have a resurgence in Canada if he charts in the US?

His songs didn't get much play in Canada. Partially I think it's because "Aeroplane" was released to radio too early. There was a delay in the CD release and by then "Aeroplane" had already run its course at radio. I believe "Broken" also got some play. There might be more info at his record company's website www.sextantrecords.com

I heard 'Aeroplane' a bit but heard 'Broken' quite a lot. I still hear it once in a while. Didn't hear the third one tho.
