Dear Dan KelownaGuy, Do you get access to songs that are impacting at Canadian radio at all? Why is that such classified information? Do radio stations get it? Is there any word on a third single from Chantal Kreviazuk. I'm ready to move on... if the label ever is...

Good question, I'm curious as well. How do radio stations know which songs are being released by Canadian artists? Before, there was The Record and Canadian Music Network, which provided listed Canadian songs going for adds, but what is used now?

For the most part, songs being released are released digitally using a the downloading service DMDS, singles are shipped, or else we're simply notified by labels what songs are going to be singles next. There's next to no attention payed to "lists" of songs that go for adds.
