Out of my own curiosity, I'm looking through the CDs I own to see if I can pick out some Canadian artists. Here are the ones I'm finding:
-Barenaked Ladies -Deborah Cox -The Diamonds -The Guess Who -Loverboy -Alanis (though it's just one single that I own) -Daniel Powter -Rush -soulDecision -R. Dean Taylor -Does Robin Thicke have dual citizenship or anything for being Alan Thicke's son? haha
I may have missed one or two, but I'm surprised just how little of my music is Canadian. I guess I'll have to add some to my list.

Ohh. I forgot about Amanda Marshall. Jeez.. I hope she comes out with something new soong. And Sarah McLachlan. I think as Canadians, we prefer Canadian artists, even if their music isn't better than some of their counterparts. It's just the fact that their Canadian that makes us like them even more.
