Billboard:
ARTIST: JOSS STONE FEATURING COMMON
SINGLE: TELL ME WHAT WE'RE GONNA DO NOW
While 20-year-old Brit prodigy Joss Stone is adored by critics for her old-soul vocal imprint, she has yet to connect with stateside airwaves, simply because she hasn't delivered a song that merits mainstream acceptance. That all changes with "Tell Me What We're Gonna Do Now," featuring Common. The vocal is at once cool and confident, while a summertime shuffle beat adds a contemporary air. At last, Stone graduates from enigma to headliner. Ravishing.

The video is really bad lmao. But it is a great song. I agree; the video left a lot to be desired. But I'm hoping the song becomes Joss' first big major radio hit!

Arms of My Baby I think is her biggest chance for a hit on this album. PYHOM is a good song, but I can't imagine it being top ten pop radio, and she really needs radio play, she's always done pretty well in the other areas.
I can't believe she's almost on single three already. I feel like the album was released a couple weeks ago, lol.

Here's a new Joss interview, clearing up the Christina Milian's rumors and the Dallas Austin one...worth a read: Let's Get Stoned U.K. soul singer JOSS STONE steps over Dallas, makes nice with Milian, and takes it all off...for art.
By Donnie Kwak Photographs by Brian Bowen Smith Joss Stone is like the barefoot hippie chick you remember from school. Popular kids hate, smart ones roll their eyes, but everybody secretly lusts after her. After two well-received but mostly forgettable albums, the spring release of Introducing Joss Stone (Virgin) arrived with loads of blog-worthy chatter, her umpteenth new look (we approve), the nude pictures with Raphael Saadiq (ours are better), and mini-beefs with Christina Milian and producer Dallas Austin (fall back, homie). To clear the air, we visited the lovely Ms. Stone in Paris. And like a true hippie, she couldn’t care less about the loose talk.
So you said some not-so-nice things about Christina Milian. What happened? I’m a very honest girl. Lies fucking piss me off. Sometimes I say things in the heat of the moment. So I said something bad about Christina Milian. I said it, and I meant it. Then I realized down the line that it wasn’t true. The person who told me is a complete wanker.
Is that “wanker” your mutual ex-boyfriend, Beau Dozier? I’m gonna let you make the decision. I did feel bad, so I called Christina to say sorry, and she was so sweet about forgiving me. She understood. Sometimes, I get a little too honest about how I feel. If I’m wrong, I’m the first to say I’m wrong. I deserve a punch for it, to be honest.
And what about Dallas Austin’s mean comments about you on that Internet clip? I don’t know him. I seriously don’t even know what he looks like. Maybe I’ll go see him when I go to Atlanta. We’ll have a cup of tea. Bless him. Seriously. People like that need prayer. Bless his poor little soul.
The picture of you and Raphael Saadiq naked caused quite a stir. That’s what I wanted to do. Even if they hated it, I wanted them to talk about it. Look at it as a piece of art, not as a sexual picture. I had to convince Raphael—he’s a little more conservative than I am. When me and Raphael make music, we’re not two separate people. I was trying to show that in the painting. Now, he loves it.
If you had to give up sex for one whole year, how much money would you demand in return? It wouldn’t be that difficult for me. I haven’t had a boyfriend for, like, two years. I’m hating on men at the moment. Every time, they hurt me bad. I get too emotionally into it. Hmmm…they’d have to donate a million dollars to a charity. Interesting...she apologized to Christina and doesn't know how that a***le Dallas Austin is ;)

She's probably got more important things to worry about than Dallas "dumb enough to get caught with drugs in Dubai" Austin lol

Joss Stone Not Getting 'Close' to Prince William WEDNESDAY JUNE 20, 2007 05:05 PM EDT
By Simon Perry People Magazine
Joss Stone is denying a report that she's becoming close friends with Prince William.
On Saturday, the U.K.'s Daily Mirror reported that William, who turns 25 on Thursday, has been calling Stone, 20, about the upcoming concert for Diana and that the two were becoming pals.
But a rep for Stone says she and the prince are not getting close. "They talked about what songs she is going to sing at the concert and that gets translated into a story about how William has been bombarding her with calls," says her rep, Dave Woolf.
According to Woolf, Stone will sing her song "You Had Me" as well as a cover of Queen's "Under Pressure" and a Tina Turner song that the prince's late mother particularly liked. "Princess Diana was always a fan of Tina Turner," Woolf says.
Stone was only 10 when Diana died and she learned of the princess's tastes from William, Woolf says: "She is really pleased to be involved in the event and was anxious that she do something that would have meant something to the princess as opposed to singing any old three songs. She wanted to get direct input about what they wanted her to do."
The princes have been taking a big role in organizing the concert. "They have had a great time, almost taking the role of promoters," says a palace source. Both William and Harry have had conversations with some of the acts taking part wherever "they thought it was right to do so," the source adds.
