Hey guys, I know Carrie has appearances scheduled today in Houston and I believe Dallas, does anyone know if she has a third appearance scheduled somewhere today??? I also know she has appearances scheduled for tomorrow (Nov @) in Tampa and Atlanta. I need to find out if there is a third city or appearance for tomorrow or also what time both the Tampa and Atlanta appearances are if anyone knows. On a side note, does anyone have the link to the interview in Chicago where she mentions she has three flights a day??? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't believe that Carrie mentioned 3 flights a day in an interview. She did mention it in one of her blog entries on the Fan Club site.

Interesting that Carrie will be on Ellen's show with Russell Crowe on Monday when she was on Leno's show with him.
As for "BHC" on the Hot 100, I don't think it can beat the longevity record. AC stations will be switching to holiday music in the next few weeks, and "BHC" is going to lose about 10 million impressions from that.

They already taped the ELLEN stuff the same day. This was stated on one of the recent radio interviews. What will be shown on Ellen is precorded I believe. "Underwood has some big shoes to fill, her own. She has won just about every country music award imaginable. I'd even go out on a limb and say had she sported a mustache, she might have even took home the male awards, too".
"Carnival Ride" is a decent follow-up to her mega-selling "Some Hearts."
Decent? 527,000 debut is decent. The reviews from the majority of newspapers, magazines, websites, Decent? I think they're finally coming over. One more album and they're hooked. lol

Interesting post at cmt message board:
new news on "Ever After"!!!
this just came in my new billboard mag. there is an article on "Enchanted" and this is what it says... "Enchanted" uses 2-D animation, live action and CGI to tell the story of a princess (Amy Adams) who is pushed down a well, comes up through a manhole in moder-day New York and falls in love with a single father (Patrick Dempsey). And who better to sell a fairy tale than Carrie Underwood? The singer, whom Walt Disney Studios president of music and soudtracks Mitchell Leib calls "America's princess," sings the song "Ever After" at the end of the movie. The "Ever After" video, which combines all three visual techniques and features an animated Underwood, will be cut into national TV spots and offered as a free video download. With Underwood Promoting her new album, "Carnival Ride," in advance of the soundtrack's Nov. 13 street date, it "puts us in a very unique spot to maximize on one of the most visible artists in the industry," Leib says. Along with "Ever After," the single version of which Underwood co-wrote, the musical numbers by composer Alan Menken and lyricist Stephen Schwartz ("Pocahontas", "Hunchback of Notre Dame") will also be used online, in commercials and across Disney-owned media platforms.
i thought that was awesome that carrie co-wrote it!!! i didnt know that before, although some of you might have. i thought i would just share that will yall!
Does anyone have any information on this. It says Carrie had a hand in writing the song "Ever ever after". Mayby the president was listing the new things being promoted, including So Small by Carrie, which we all know she co-wrote. That's a new one on me.

Ahh, I wanna see that video! And if "Enchanted" is a huge smash maybe they'll nominate "Ever Ever After" for best original song at the Oscars, and Carrie would be the writer and performer! Ahhh!

From the information posted so far, I don't think we can conclusively conclude that Carrie had a hand in writing "Ever Ever After". Anything is possible, but we may not know the answer for awhile yet. The album comes out on Nov 20th I think, so we'll definitely know by then.

The article says November 13 street date. Darn, I won't be here in the US anymore. Vinman, I'll be relying solely on your caps :) So now, we know more for sure that Carrie's November 12th GMA appearance is to promote the soundtrack.

The video should be all over the Disney channel with the songwriters name on the bottom. You'll hear a huge attagirl from me if her name is on it.]

Video of her interview in kSCS is available at: www.kscs.com/Article.asp?id=504776&spid=I tried to record the interview but since I have no prior experience with this it turned out to be not so good. You can hear Carrie but you have to set the volume up to the highest level to get a very faint sound.

does anyone know if carrie was interviewed by 99,5 thewolf today ? i heard a rumor that she was also there today !!! At least not on the morning show. I had all three Dallas stations streaming at the same time and only KSCS mentioned an interview on the morning show. 99.5 The wolf did play a small clip of her saying she was happier with the music on CR than on SH. They then played AAG.

Is Ashlee Simpson afraid to battle American Idol runner-up Blake Lewis on the charts? Jessica Simpson's little sis may be concerned about losing a chart battle with Blake a report from OK! Magazine claims in this week's print edition. According top the report, Ashlee Simpson's long-awaited follow-up album to "I Am Me" is going to be delayed.
Ashlee Simpson Chart Worry: Won't Battle American Idol's Blake Lewis? (Image: Wenn)
The speculation from the item in the weekly entertainment magazine is that it is because she doesn't want to go head-to-head on Nov. 27 with American Idol beat boxer Blake Lewis, 26. "Ashlee hates American Idol, and she thinks the show makes stars out of nobodies, taking credibility away from real musicians," a source close to Ash, 23, tells OK.
"They're figuring out the release date, but it should be at the end of December. She doesn't want to compete with the crazy Idol fans." It sounds like a pretty good decision but there is no way that Team Simpson would ever admit that - right?
Cue the rep™: Although her Web site simultaneously declares the albums' release date to be November and December, Ashlee's rep tells OK, "There was never a date set, so it couldn't have been pushed back."

I was moving some of the stuff off my desktop and I happen to listen to an interview Carrie had with KILT in Houston the day of the release of CR. At the start of the interview they said that she was going to be in the KILT studios on November 1.

Wow! There's already 95 pages on this thread. It's hard to keep up with all this activity here.
Dudley, I believe it is about time to close this thread and make Part III. :) I'm thinking that the Part I thread had less pages than this before it was closed, and I don't want to see something go wrong with this thread.
