Her second album came out a few weeks ago. At first I would compare it to something like a folk/alt-country-type sound but now I think she's probably more of an Anna Nalick with a guitar and more folk-like influences. I also think she has one of the best new voices in music. Her CD is quite good!
Anyone else have it?

Don't have it, but got the single when it was single of the week last month on itunes.
Like the song, but hate that part when her voice goes dead at 2:52/2:53.

I'm guessing you're referring to when her voice cracks. I quite like it. Adds so much more emotion to the song!

Thank God there's SOMETHING on Brandi.
I love her voice so much. It's so emotive, and I think it captures just the right tones. She's very talented.
Love the album, too!

"Turpentine" is a good choice for a second single. I'm not sure it'll be successful - was "The Story"? - but it's a great song nonetheless.

I think Turpentine is an alright song but I'm ready for single #3. I'm guessing it'll be 'Late Morning Lullaby'.
I just got done listening to this album tonight. Still love it!!
