I just saw a post at CMT, someone's saying that AAG is the next single. Does anyone have any further information? Site? Label? Thanks. It's the running rumor since it is already at like 75 on mediabase...and has been getting the most radio play of all the new songs. I hope it is true-- but I don't think it's confirmed yet.

I saw the post, too... but I'm unfamiliar with the CMT board to know if the poster is a reliable source or not.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- guys-- I just opened the physical Enchanted cd, and for Ever Ever After, it says: music by Alan Menken, Lyrics by Stephen Schwarts, and Additional Material by Carrie Underwood!
Unless I am mistaken, that is a partial songwriting credit, right? Or am I reading it wrong? I know she said she changed it a little to fit her more, from the original lyrics. So my understanding of this, is that she altered the song just a tiny bit, and will get credit for that.
Am I way off base?

If they want to include her in the process, then they would have to add Carrie to the song registration. But, if Carrie just wanted to tweak the words to her taste, and they agreed, the songwriters might have told her they would give her credit, but only on the album notes.

Yeah lots of them do because it takes only about 500 spins to top the AC chart at Christmastime. Kimberley Locke got one with "Jingle Bells" last year. I bought the Enchanted soundtrack on iTunes just so I can watch the EEA video on widescreen on my computer.

I don't know much about, but I know Kim Locke has "2" number one christmas song at AC Chart. No offence to her, but usually she's not do well on the chart! So I'm sure there's a plenty of number 1 christmas song on the AC chart.

Thanks for that link Desi, that was too funny and short. I wanna see more Carrie dancing! Also, from GAC, Q&A: tinyurl.com/2kx5cuQ: Is Carrie Underwood's song "Ever, Ever After" for Disney's movie, "Enchanted" going to be considered a country song or what? We know some people believe she is not a true country artist, but her most popular song "Before He Cheats" is still going pretty good on a lot of charts besides country and Carnival Ride, her new album, is country pop. (OldGoat34, Benson, AZ) A: Dear OldGoat34 (don't you know that 30 is the new 20?), That particular song will likely be in the movie soundtrack categories, and not a country release, unless it's released and worked as a country single. Carrie is one of those artists, like Faith Hill or Martina McBride, that could sing any format of music. But like the others, Carrie Underwood has always considered herself a country artist, even when she was competing on "American Idol." Therefore, when she sings a popish ballad or tempo song, she will always hear the wags saying she's not country or not country enough. Personally, I love Carrie's voice, as I do the voices of Faith and Martina, and love hearing it whether she's singing country as corn or a bit pop-corn, if you wish.

guys I went to the matinee showing of Enchanted as I got out of work early, and I wanted to avoid the holiday crowds. It was so so good! Very cute.
Here is the good news: Carrie's song is played in its entirety DURING the movie, at the end, not during the credits like I thought it would be! So this is even better for Carrie, since many many people leave as the credits come out, including me. Most people never really hear the closing song during the credits.
But they will ALL hear carrie's song now, because it starts and ends during the last, important scene of the movie- andit is so perfect for the movie!
you have to see it.

The official language of Norway is Norwegian. thanx! I thought that was it, but I honestly have never been there and don't know much about the culture, etc. I know some of them speak English too, so I wasn't sure if English was the main language, or Norwegian. lol I have to brush up on my knowledge of that country. LOL Been to Italy and England, but never to Norway. :)

Has anybody been able to find the "Hear Something Country Christmas" CD? I've looked at a few stores and I can't seem to find it... I saw it in the Christmas section of Best buy, and also at walmart and target. But you may have to search hard as there are alot of other holiday cds out.

Sorry if this was posted already but there's a small pic of Carrie (AMA pic) at the right side of this week's issue of People (Cover is about Kanye and his mom). I'm assuming it's about the AMAs. :)

According to the front page of Carrie's fan club, pre-sales for the Keith/Carrie tour will start next Wednesday, 28 November. The Omaha Qwest Center date is also now confirmed for 7 March 2008. I'm still anxiously awaiting the rest of the dates! Great sales for Carnival Ride this week, and dang, Some Hearts just doesn't seem to stop! By the way, EEA made Brian Mansfield's playlist as posted on USA Today's Listen Up! blog:
