"Fidelity" songstress Regina Spektor will embark on a 27-date North American tour set to kick off with an Austin City Limits Festival appearance on Sept. 16. The jaunt, which follows the release of a new version of her single "Better," takes the singer/pianist from an official opening date in Baltimore, through the Midwest and West Coast, before winding up in Richmond, Va. right before Thanksgiving.
As Spektor completes some late August and early September U.K. dates, Sire Records will issue two new versions of Spektor's single, "Better," as a 7" single on colored vinyl, due on Aug. 28.
A 2007 Shortlist Music Prize finalist, Spektor's 2006 album "Begin to Hope" has spent 34 weeks on The Billboard 200, peaking at No. 20.
