Lauryn Hill Cancels Entire European TourFestival organizers say hip-hop and R&B singer Lauryn Hill has canceled all tour dates in Europe this summer for health reasons. Stockholm Jazz Festival spokeswoman Liisa Tolonen says the artist's agent informed the festival late Tuesday that all performances in Europe by the former Fugees singer have been canceled. This includes shows in Sweden, Greece, the Netherlands, Poland, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, France, and Austria. Tolonen said Wednesday the agent cited health reasons for the cancellation but declined to give more details. The tour would have marked a comeback to stage by Hill who has kept a low public profile in recent years. She was the planned headline act for The Stockholm Jazz Festival, one of Sweden's biggest music events. www.billboard.com/bbcom/news/lauryn-hill-cancels-entire-european-tour-1003981893.story

Maybe if Whitney does well it will inspire her.

Maybe if Whitney does well it will inspire her. Doubt it! I gave up hope for Ms. Hills return awhile ago. 'Loose Myself' was promising but that was like 06/07? It's such a shame. She was the future of music! :'(

Janelle Monae is the new Lauryn Hill anyway. There's only 1 Lauryn Hill. The only one to come close is Alicia Keys.

I'm really beginning to believe that Lauryn was overrated and her success was a fluke. Let's not forget, she only had ONE great album. As great as Miseducation was, it was ONE album, not to mention, one plagued by lawsuits regarding just how involved she really was to begin with. I have been over her for a while and frankly, the more time she stays away, the more over her I become. I just pray for her to put her demons to bed once and for all, whatever they may be.

The Miseducation was definitely overrated, but it was also a very good album, for a change.

Both Fugees albums were amazing, as was her Unplugged album, as has the twenty or so leaked, demo and featuring tracks over the last ten years. Not a fluke.

Lauryn was a talent waiting to explode in Sister Act. Nothing was a fluke IMO. Her solo album was pretty good, the stuff with Fugees was pretty good but I can safely say that I dont think she hit her prime with her solo. Its a sad situation because shes vocally talented and could be highly successful but shes just too far gone now from the mainstream world. But if she came back Id be there with open arms.

As much as I love her, she doesnt give a shit for her fans or to anyone else, so why should I really be bothered?
She gave me 'Ex factor', which is my favorite record of all time so I'm just like 'Ok, Lauryn' I stopped wanting her to comeback cause let's be real, she doesn't want to.
And with ALL honesty, I dont want her to. She just would kill herself this time around. She hated the industry back in 99 so where can she find herself in these days? Bitch is Britney Spears crazy times 10

She performed at a festival in Sydney on Friday. ( Rap-Up) Here's "Turn Your Lights Down Low" with Julian Marley: Undying, indeed.

This is so sickening that she hasn't been able to follow up her classic. Maxwell and Sade are releasing music after all these years. I just wish she and D'Angelo would do the same.

The chorus of "Doo Wop" got stuck ALL day in my head today. Truly an amazing song, just saw the video for the first time in years and she's a lot prettier than I remembered.
