Which is her 25th year. Madonna debuted on the BB200 in August 1983.
I was hoping for a new album in 2007 and a box set in 2008.

Well, if she did come out with one in 07, id would think fall would be the most likey time frame...trust me..lol..i would love to hear from her by then, but it just seems rare that shed come out with a new album around the same time frame as COADF...plus, you know Madonna likes to take her time and make sure the right moves are made, the right lead single is chosen and of course a world tour the summer of 08...im not sure what she will do, but what ever she does..you will most likey hear from it between late 07 and no later then early 08....she really has nothing in her way like a movie or any other big projects, so nothing will shock me.

she already done it right !!! Eroctic album had alot of Hiphop influence , correct me if im wrong ? It was about a third hip hop, a third dance and about a third of pop stuff. If she ever does hip hop again, it should not have a song like "Did You Do It". She should go hip-hop for this next one. :) She sort of has in the past. She had a few tracks in that style on her Erotica and Bedtime Story albums.

Daddy Yankee says he wants to produce for her lol It could work if it is done right. Remember that L.E.X. Reggaeton mix of "Hung Up"? It was not as bad as I thought it would be.

According to Madonna Tribe: Brand New Madonna Print and T.V Campaign for H&M, The Campaign will be completely New one! Not only will Madonna be designing her own clothing line but there's also going to be a T.V Commercial with her plus a brand new photoshoot!!, something completely different from the previous one by Rankin...stay tune for more.

That's hot! The previous ad campaign she did was really awesome. I have read in some places that she may be doing a perfume/fragrance for H&M also.

Erotica definetly had some industrial hip-hop and rnb tracks on it. Especially "Did You Do It?" lol. But also "Waiting" and tracks like that.

Erotica was a classic, its just that the promotion was all wrong, BedTime Stories had an Pop / r&b sound to it...but the thing is..Madonna's voice was diffrent then...deep and heavy.....the Evita project changed all that...Madonna voice may be stronger now, but it lacks that deep dark pitch she once had...so doing any song with an r&b or hip hop or regga vibe might not go down so well this time.

And "Why's It So Hard" was really reminiscent of a Prince track. "Waiting" was really great. The alternate version on the Rain EP had some rap on it in addition to M's vocals.

I can see her going towards a more rock sound or something. A moronic as it sounds, I remember hearing rumors of that before we knew what Confessions was all about and she has really put it in her last three tours, Guitar phase of the show. She seems to be a fan of rockbands alot....I could see it. It would obviously still be pop but rockish element to it. I wonder if audiences would like that.

Well, back when she was a nobody in NYC she played drums for all kinds of rock/punk bands on the club scene there (Like CBGB and places like that.) I think "rock" music would come to her more easily than her detractors would like to admit, it obviously wouldn't be metal or punk, or "dark" but she could still do it if she wanted.

The early version of "I Love New York" definitely had more of a rock-influenced sound. Although I normally favor poppier/dancier tracks, the guitar-driven ILNY is far superior to the insipid version that ended up on COADF (IMO)!

ILNY (COADF version) would have been a masterpiece if she had taken the time to write real lyrics to it, the chessy lyrics were intentional but that doesn't change that they were stupid and a big let down. Same goes with the original/demo/IGTTYAS version. But in that original/demo/IGTTYAS form it borders on sounding like a Hillary Duff reject to me for some reason.

I like ILNY, but I agree about the lyrics. I want to like it more than I do, but some of the lyrics are just so...ug
