There's a link to listen here. I'd be surprised if it hits the top 40.

What? This song sounds nothing like HBAM. It's a different tempo and everything.
I liked it on the first listen, but I could see this getting totally ignored by pop radio.

Hot AC will eat this up. It got an overwhelmingly good response on my radio station.

I haven't heard it yet but I am not counting them out yet. No matter what chr/pop does. Since Lifehouse seems to fit in on hot ac

It's good. Sounds more like "Breathing" than "Hanging By A Moment", though not nearly as good as "Breathing" (which remains one of my favourite songs today).
I'd be shocked if it did anything on Pop, but agree that it has a good shot at Hot AC.

I'm skeptical about this track being relatively pushed at all.
The lead single from their previous album "Stanley Climbfall", "Spin", proved it had the longevity, but it didn't peak very high and then just tapered off rather quickly. If my memory serves me correctly, "Spin" peaked at #14 at Hot AC and just missed the Top 20 at CHR/Pop.
CHR/Pop will likely give this the cold shoulder. Hot AC may give this a chance, but even there I think they'll fall incredibly short of "Hanging By A Moment".
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I also have my doubts about pop. Really good song though.

This is extremely generic with extremely sappy lyrics, but I dont think I expected different from them. Its nice, but nothing special.

This is slower than anything they've done. I really don't see too many similarities to "Hangin by a Moment"
Personally for me, its not as good as "Spin", but better than "Hanging By A Moment".
I'd be shocked to see this go Top 30, but if "Daughters" hit big, so can this.

I like it but when I listen to it, it seems that it is something about it which makes it hard for me to see it being a hit.
It is good that they are releasing a single that represent how they are, unlike from what I've heard they did before releasing an up-tempo song which doesn't reflect most of their album.
I guess we have to wait and see how its run will be.
When is the album out?

I don't think my pop station will touch this with a 10 ft pole attached to a level 1 hazmat suit. They don't seem to like in between songs like this. Not uptempo jams, but not quite ballads either. I think the Hot AC station will be all over it though. As for me, I agree with Hector. Sounds like an album track to me.

Awesome! I owe Lifehouse. I didn't get either of their previous CDs, due to not having been much of a music fan then. I will pick this up and try and get to the other two as well. "Spin" and "Hanging By A Moment" are just awesome and timeless, IMO, and I hope their CDs reflect that. :)

Yeah it went up many places on Billboard. 28 is great. I guess it is due to downloads.

DAMN! :o :o :o If there's one band that owes its success in 05 to the new Billboard chart it's Lifehouse. 64 spot jump, damn. I think that could be the largest jump in Billboard history, can anyone verify?

Jumped from No. 32 to No. 6 on Hot Digital Songs w/ a 204% increase to 24,005 downloads for the week. Those figures are amazing, especially considering the song's really not getting much airplay on any formats right now. Plus, it's not that impressive a song, but then that's just my opinion. Interesting that had it not been for the new Billboard rule, "You And Me" wouldn't even be charting right now...and for that matter, had Billboard used its pre-1999 rules in 2001, the biggest song of the year, "Hanging By A Moment", wouldn't have charted either.
