love the song. not country IMO, but very good, especially the vocals. Very excited for his upcoming duet song with Patty Loveless too. Agreed. This IS NOT a country song. It sounds like something you'd hear on some alternative/pop station. Good vocals and melody, but this is a prime example of how country is turning pop. True country is struggling to stay afloat here in 2008. Save us Brad Paisley! lol

Jimmy Wayne Has His 3rd Hit
Do You Believe Me Now?
Do You Believe Me Now, the lead single from Jimmy Wayne’s new album enters Billboard's Top 10 this week, jumping 6 notches to the #9 position.
Jimmy Wayne is no stranger to the Top 10. In fact, Do You Believe Me Now marks the artist’s third Top 10 hit. His debut single, Stay Gone, peaked at #3 and his follow-up single, I Love You This Much, landed at #6 more than four years ago.
Wayne continued his streak of hits from his self-titled debut album with two additional Top 20 singles.

Would've never thought when this was first released that it would be top 10. I am VERY pleasantly surprised.

Yeah, I agree with those of you who think that this song isn't very "country"; however, I also agree with those of you who don't give a rat's butt either way because it's an amazing song!! I really hope it goes #1....very deserving.

this will probably get to #1 after Keith Anderson in a few weeks, if he can hold off Brad, which looks quite likely since he is consistently gaining more than Brad all this week. i hope it at least gets 1 week at #1 and maybe getting 2-3

#4 this week!!! Jimmy's second biggest hit yet! also i have a question. on Wikipedia, it says Jimmy released 2 songs called "I'll Never Leave You" and "I Didn't Come Here To Lose" but both failed to chart. i noticed the latter will be on his album next week, but i haven't heard about INLY. does anyone else know about this?

I know he did release a follow-up to That's All I'll Ever Need, but it never charted, but I don't recall which one it was. I don't remember a third song though. It may have been pulled for DYBMN or something.

well something makes me doubt that "I Didn't Come Here To Lose" was released. maybe because its going to be on the album? i don't know, but something tells me that Wiki is wrong. now that i look at it, i actually have "I'll Never Leave You". I think it was a free download from People magazine one time.
on the other hand, i CANNOT wait for his album next week!!! i need to go get more money in my iTunes account before next week.

I just listened to the album, and "Stay Gone" and "I Love You This Much" have been re-recorded.
I wasn't really planning on picking up this album, but I am now after listening to it. I think it's a solid album despite the fact that there are only 10 new songs.

Ok....I love old country....haha....no pun intended....but I realized the other nite listening to Jimmy's first album....I also love good music...I love the first single....and hoping that the album has just as many good enjoyable songs on it. Just wish radio would find a niche....I see no reason that Vern Gosdin, Merle Haggard and many others can't fit into playlists with the current stuff....some good some BAD!!

"I Love You This Much" should have been a bigger hit than what it was, IMO.

After REALLY getting into this song, I pulled out his debut album the other day. Man, I forgot what a great album it is. "After You","The Rabbit", "She Runs", "Just A Dream", and each of the singles were all excellent songs.
I really can't wait to hear this new album tomorrow.
