Is it so bad to ask just for a top 40 spot? I mean since Clay ain't gonna make it, I guess I gotta root for this one.

^Yea. 2 outta 3 ain't bad. But between the 3, I would thought Clay would've had the best shot at top 40. He should'ce released Miami & Me........
I'll stop before I get too off topic.

I really like this too. I definetly don't think T40 is out of the question. I have a hunch that this could actually be fairly successful (top 20 maybe?).
And btw recjus, I agree with you about Miami And Me. That was my second favorite song on his album (behind Fall)

This song is decent to me, but I hate the production. It's moving pretty well though, I'd say this has a great shot at making the top 20.

Someone has to go out on a limb. I'll say this one gets him back to the top 10. Even without a major label, which makes this one less likely to get up that high.

This is one of my favorite songs out right now. I haven't been this excited about country music in a while with the new Eric Church and Darius Rucker songs. I can see this doing really well.

Eh, this doesnt do much for me. There might be a decent song hidden in there but the arrangment is just entirely too busy for my tastes.

26 24 JIMMY WAYNE Do You Believe Me No... 1420 1090 330 9.710
Not sure where that came from, but I hope it's not just a one week blip. This isn't Jimmy's best effort (although I do really like it), but it's really nice to hear him on the radio again. Hopefully he can enjoy some sustained success at Valory.

I'm surprised at how great this is doing without any major label support. Good for Jimmy.
It's a little too busy for me, but I like the message and lyrically the song is strong.

I know Valory isn't a major label, but it's Big Machine's sister imprint with the super-aggressive Scott Borchetta at the helm, no? With that and this song's excellent R&R Callout performance in mind, I agree with Zazie that "Do You Believe Me Now?" is a good bet to go top-10.
I quite like this guy's voice, but would much prefer this song acoustic.

Good song, overproduced a bit tho. It sounds like it could be a big hit on AC.

I'm glad to see this song moving fast. I really can't wait to get some new Jimmy Wayne material in hand. I've missed hearing him on the radio (although my station plays his "missed" singles). I hope this goes higher than top-5...guess we'll see!

August Release in Cards for Wayne's New Album It's been five long years since we've heard a full-length from Jimmy Wayne, but it appears as if his sophomore album is right around the corner. The singer just submitted the recording, titled Beautiful Thing, to his label, which plans to release it on Aug. 19. "I've finally gotten on my feet again," says Jimmy, adding that he "cannot wait for you all to get your ears on this material."
