I was waiting on her response. Such a tragedy.

I should be used to this by now, but her eras are so disappointing. So that's it? No second single, no second video? Nothing?
I saw it coming, but it sucks. She releases a great album, you get one video and she disappears. Obviously, it's because she's not selling, but it doesn't make it any less frustrating.

I don't think her meager record sales should be used as an excuse because she is on an indie label - an indie label created by her manager specifically to release her music so it should've been anticipated that the album would be a slow burn on the sales front and a promo plan of attack should've been established before the album's release. Naturally, the album sales would increase once more people became aware of its existence via singles, videos, touring, etc.

Mandy Moore lets down her hair for "Rapunzel"Thu Sep 10, 2009 1:18am EDT By Jay A. Fernandez and Borys Kit LOS ANGELES (Hollywood Reporter) - After combing the acting landscape, Walt Disney Pictures has chosen Mandy Moore to voice the lead role in its Digital 3D-animated musical action-adventure "Rapunzel," inspired by the Brothers Grimm fairy tale. Zachary Levi, star of NBC's "Chuck," has been cast as the voice of the dashing bandit who finds himself on the road with the rebellious teen "hair apparent." Byron Howard and Nathan Greno will direct. Regular Disney collaborator and multiple Oscar winner Alan Menken ("Beauty and the Beast," "Aladdin") will compose the film's music. The film is scheduled for a holiday 2010 release. Disney has long been trying to make a film about the character and years ago developed a project titled "Rapunzel Unbraided" with a number of writers. That project eventually faded, but when Disney/Pixar chief creative officer John Lasseter came aboard in 2006, he started from scratch. Disney's new "Rapunzel" picks up years after the princess, famous for her 70 feet of golden hair, has been stolen from her parents' castle as an infant and imprisoned. Now a teenager, Rapunzel escapes and goes on the run with a bandit, pursued by her captor. Rapunzel could become part of the Disney Princess merchandising line launched in 2000. (The character also made a brief appearance in DreamWorks Animation's "Shrek the Third" in 2007.) For 2010, Disney also has scheduled a 3D rendering of "Beauty and the Beast," Tim Burton's "Alice in Wonderland" and "Toy Story 3." Moore is shooting the romantic comedy "Swinging With the Finkels" in the U.K. The singer-actress, who released the album "Amanda Leigh" this year, has starred in the features "Saved!" and "License to Wed." Levi next appears in "Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel," which opens December 25. Howard co-directed the Disney Animation film "Bolt," which grossed $306 million worldwide last year. Greno served as head of story on the movie.

You know, watching Glee, I can't help but think that Mandy could have been an amazing Rachel Berry. She can sing, act, and she does that vulnerable, insecure thing really well, and it would have kick started her career. Oh well :(

LTLMB would've been the safer choice imo. Although, I think my favorite track, "Nothing Everything", should've been a single! That song is nothing short of amazing. <3

Definitely Love To Love Me Back, if it were up to picking a "single."
But my favorite song is Everblue. (I also really like Bug, but I think I *might* be in the minority.)

Yep she's really becoming a good actress imo, and not just a singer who wants to act. We have many of those.

She was great on Grey's Anatomy. Such an intense episode and she handled her scenes wonderfully.

I agree.
I didn't really watch the show until last night and WOW. That was sooo not what I was expecting "Grey's Anatomy" to be.

Kellan Lutz Marries Mandy Moore In 'First Love, Then Marriage' Posted 1/25/10 1:28 pm ET by Amy Wilkinson He may have lost the role of Conan the Barbarian to "Stargate Atlantis" actor Jason Momoa, but "Twilight" star Kellan Lutz has muscled his way into a new role in the romantic comedy "First Love, Then Marriage." According to JustJared.com, Kellan will play Mandy Moore's husband in the rom-com, which also reportedly stars Blythe Danner (a.k.a. Gwyneth Paltrow's mom) and Christopher Walken. The film centers around Mandy's marriage counselor character, who after finding out her parents have separated, does all she can to bring them back together, to the detriment of her own new marriage. The film is being directed by Dermot Mulroney, a man who knows a thing or two about romantic comedies having starred in the Julia Roberts-favorite "My Best Friend's Wedding." This role marks Kellan's first foray into the genre, so we're curious to see how he fares. He's stated on several occasions that he wants to be the next big action star, but a role like this is no doubt a great way to diversify his resume. Mandy, on the other hand, isn't straying too far from her comfort zone having already played a newlywed in "License to Wed" and in real-life, marrying musician Ryan Adams in the spring of 2009. I was just thinking where has she been in films?

Did anyone purchase Amanda Leigh off iTunes? I'd like the track-by-track interview she did for the album.

Congratulations to Mandy on her first feature film to cross the $100m threshold; The gross revenue for Tangled is $118m to date.
Interesting tidbit: Tangled is the most expensive animated film ever made ($260m) and the 2nd most expensive film of all time (behind Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End ($300m).

2011 Golden Globes: Mandy MooreMonday - 4:14PM by BellaSugar Australia Tangled star Mandy Moore looks like the kind of girl that has never had a bad hair day in her life. She wore her chocolate brown locks wavy, with a slightly off-centre part to the Globes and looked all chillaxed glam on the red carpet. I love her sparkly bronze shadow which was used on the lids and across the lower lash line, and topped off with chocolate winged eyeliner. Mandy finished her look with nude gloss.

Mandy Moore joins 'Falling Slowly' cast, new album on the wayMarch 1, 2011 5:51 PM ET By Carina Adly MacKenzie Mandy Moore's performance at the 83rd Academy Awards -- alongside her "Tangled" co-star, Zachary Levi -- reminded many of us that oh, yeah... she sings, too. Her last two albums, "Amanda Leigh" and "Wild Hope" flew under the radar, taking a new direction as she steered away from her pop roots and toward a more folksy sound. Now, Moore says she's begun writing her next album and has plans to go into the studio within the next "couple of weeks." She's not taking a break from acting to record, though. Variety reports that Moore has been cast in "Falling Slowly," the directorial debut of Chris Sparling, who is best known for writing "Buried." "Falling Slowly" is a new kind of film for Moore, who has tended toward romance and indie flicks. It's a thriller ghost story about a couple haunted by a "dark presence." Moore will star opposite Rodrigo Santoro as the said couple.
