I don't know an adds date, but AllAccess has a Pop promo up for it, and it probably goes for adds soon. Personally, I think this could do a small dent on Pop, but I'm not sure. Its catchy, but I don't think lyrically it has anything in it for Pop audiences. Its basically just a GC diss. I love it, and I hope that with all the Alt successes on Pop rite now, PDs don't overlook it. www.allaccess.com/wma/weezhills.wma

I hope this does well too. However, even though it was a long time ago, if Pop wasn't willing to play "Island in the Sun" I don't see them playing anything by Weezer.

This really sounds like a "top 40" hit. They'd be foolish to let the song pass 'em by.

This song was made to crossover to pop. I wouldn't be too disappointed if it wasn't a pop smash though.

This song is really good . agreed. With good promotion this could see its way into the 20-30 range this summer.

I see this performing like "1985" being that they're kinda the same as in they're both like a novelty track.

It's won a couple nights (and still going) on the "Battle of The Newbee's."

It debuts at #9 in the UK this week making it their biggest hit. It's kind of sickening to me that this is now Weezer's biggest hit in the US and the UK. It's not even close to their best song.

104 KRBE (#7 Pop) in Houston is the first large-market add for "Beverly Hills".

I didn't like it when it first came out, but it's slowly growing on me. I prefer INTS and Keep Fishin' though.

The song isn't skyrocketing up the pop charts, but it's doing okay. I like the song...definitely a novelty track...but I say top 20.

Go Weezer! If this is the song that will break them, so be it! Break them? LOL, they've been broken for ten years or so, I would say. And I don't know, but can anyone say there's a Weezer song that isn't a novelty track, at least in some part? Maybe because this sounds so overtly like one that people are pointing it out, but to me, they've always been a tongue-in-cheek band. None of their songs ever really err on the serious side. (Though I don't consider them to be an out-and-out novelty artist, a la Bowling For Soup, and while I'm on that point, it's a terrible shame that Weezer's being compared to them)

So all future singles from them have to be punished just because their best song years ago didn't perform well on the charts?

My sister-in-law was complaining that this song had gotten stuck in her head for a week and she had only heard it once. Considering she only listens to pop and hot AC, that's probably a good sign for the song.
