I like this too. Everytime I think Kid Rock has had his last hit, he comes back and surprises me. I really like the Southern rock feel of this. I could see this making the top 40 (not much more, unfortunately). It's already there with a healthy bullet at pop radio, in the top 30 at HotAC, and back in the top 60 on Billboard's country chart. It's shaping up to be a multi-format hit.

I almost thought this song was a remake. The beginning music sounds like some other song that escapes me at the moment.

I think this song is great. It's my favorite from the Rock N Roll Jesus album. I love his southern rock music, it works the best for him, I think. I hope this does well.

That's it exactly--both those songs. Thanks!

I really like this as well. The lyrics are a little bit racy for the song to make a serious chart run, but I think it could have a long stay in the 41-60 region of the chart.

Haha, the Sweet Home Alabama line in the song was what finally got me to figure out that the music was modeling that song.
Would it kill them to release this to Country?...

This is one of the worst songs of the year. Kid Rock is one of the last people I want to hear massacring two classics.

I can't stand Kid Rock. This song might grow on me later but I really don't like this at all.

I think it's great but I'm burnt out on it from the pop station playing it too much.

i absolutely cannot stand this non-country mess. i hate how people try to be country when they are obviously not. if you want to be country, at least make a country song, like Jessica Simpson or Jewel or Darius Rucker. i am not a big Kid Rock fan but i do love "Picture" and if he did something like that, he could be considered country. but if he does southern rockish pop stuff like this, he wont be welcomed. i hope this dies off soon and stays away.

LMAO @ Jewel and Jessica Simpson being used as a barometer for what is "country"! This isn't country per se , but comes a hell of a lot closer then I expect to ever hear come from the Simpson chick. I like this, and a good piece of his last record but then again , Ive always had a soft spot for southern rock....

well at least Jessica made a country song. this one is not (IMO) I agree with you that this isn't a country song, but I don't think it was ever intended to be one. To my knowledge it never had an adds date, nor is it listed as a new song at allaboutcountry or allaccess. A handful of country have decided to play the song anyway (reminds me of when Los Lonely Boys charted with "Heaven").

That's exactly why I don't watch CMT. The last time I turned on CMT (and they were actually playing music, which is rare) they were playing a Colbie Callait song. Talk about someone who isn't remotely country.

yeah i dont like how they support her either. i like Colbie but she shouldnt be on CMT.
i never watch CMT anymore either because they never play music videos. they always have these stupid shows that are usually on ABC or NBC or some other channel that they just adopted. or some stupid show that has nothing to do with country music. they should stick to music, videos, and the COUNTRY music artists. that is it!

I rather like this song, as well. Every now and then, Kid Rock reminds me that he is actually a fairly talented artist underneath the well-publicized boorishness.
As for CMT playing this song, I like that CMT extends its playlist beyond the commercial country fare on the radio. For example, I thought it was great that it gave a fair amount of play to the Dixie Chicks' "Not Ready to Make Nice," and I don't have a problem with CMT playing this, either. It -is- a double-edged sword, though, because its inclusion of Colbie Caillat and Nickelback in its playlist really annoyed me.

CMT played Nickelback??? I mean, I love Nickelback (probably my favorite non-country act), but hearing them on CMT would be very odd.
