I've heard this song ten times, and I can't tell you a single word from it. That is not a good sign. I do like the laid-back vibe, though, it's a great fit for Billy's voice.
As for MBDSR, I've probably heard that five times since it fell from the charts.

I like this. I like's Tangled Up as well. That was my 2nd favorite song from him, behind Walk A Little Straighter. Actually I've not hated one of his singles, unless you count that duet he did with Shania.

As for MBDSR, I've probably heard that five times since it fell from the charts. Same here. I hear I Got a Feelin' and Walk A Little Straighter more than I hear MBDSR. I never really understood why it went to #1 anyway, i found it to be very mediocre. As far as this song goes, I guess I'm starting to come around on it. I like the way that Billy sings it, but the music isn't my cup of tea.

Walk A Little Straighter is my favorite song of Billy's. I just fell in love with that song the first time I heard it. Really has a lot of meaning. It's a crime that didn't go #1.

Okay, anyone wanna take a guess as to:
a.) why Tangled Up flopped so badly b.) why it took him over a year to put out a follow up, and c.) why I can't come up with a third why to match his "Why, Why, Why"?

I know the answer to b) is that he went to anger management rehab for a few months to deal with some issues from his childhood, so his career took the backseat for awhile.

Yeah, I love Luke's version. I think he sounds a lot better singing the song than Billy. I wish Luke had saved it for himself and released it as a single.

I wish Luke had saved it for himself and released it as a single. I feel the same way! Luke's version is way better! He probably had no idea it would be such a big hit and even if he knew it Luke also knew he would still make a ton of money off of it. Songwriters are the ones who make all the money anyway.

I'm REALLY looking forward to this CD tomorrow. His first two albums are EXCELLENT, IMO. There isn't one song that he has recorded that I didn't like.

After my first listen to this today, I love this album. I really like Billy's voice. I especially love "I Shall Return" and the sound of it. It fits his voice real well.

Anyone else think this song sounds a bit 90s Vince Gill esque?

I got the CD and really like the first 6 songs or so and then it goes a bit downhill for me. I like some of the songs after track 6 but just not as much. I really like People Are Crazy. I think that would make a good single. I also love the first track, Swimmin' in Sunshine. That song really stands out to me and I love the kind of bluesy feel to it. I am hoping it's a future summertime single. When I saw Billy in concert a month or so ago, he said Walk On was his favorite on the CD, I believe. I am not as impressed with that one. Maybe it has to grow on me some more.
