This was just sent out to radio. No add date is mentioned.
I think this is better than "Tangled Up," but it's not great. I can see it making the top 20, but I would be surprised if it went top 10.
Chorus:
Baby, baby don't Don't just say you're leavin' Why don't you stay a little bit longer Got it going on And I just can't believe it This feelin' it just keeps gettin' stronger
Surprise, surprise! Another Billy Currington single that will appeal to females. "Tangled Up" didn't work so well, so it should be interesting to see how this one does.

I love Billy, glad to see they are releasing a single. I get to see him in concert in September. I liked Tangled Up, but then again, I am a single female :)

I've listened to the song twice now, and I'm still trying to figure out what I'm listening to. I honestly don't know how that can be considered a country song. The lyrics were ok, so was the delivery (although Billy does oversing a bit on the chorus), but music was...well, I'm still trying to figure out what it was. I'm not saying I hate it, because I think I actually kind of like it, but not as a country song. Maybe I'm alone in this, but that just didn't sound like country music to me.

Wow, this sounds like an 80s yacht rock song, like Hall & Oates or something.
I don't mind the sound of the song (although I don't like the drumbeat -- it's distracting and I think the melody would work better if the song were allowed to swing a bit more). But the lyrics seem rather uninspired.

"She Know what to do With a Saturday Night" should have been the follow up to "Good Directions" Tangled Up was be far his worst single in my opinion!

"She Knows What To Do With A Saturday Night" would NOT have done well on country radio, especially as the 4th or 5th single. Not the best song at all.
After "Good Directions" peaked, they should have released a good follow up single immeidately. Didn't they wait a while to release "Tangled Up"?
Oh well, I'm glad to have new music from him. I agree with an earlier comment that said his first two albums are everything you want from a country album.

i disagree "SKWTDWASN" is a better written song then "She's a Hottie" and it's uptempo...these bland songs get lost at country radio..this guy should be getting male vocalists nominations, but not singing terrible forgetable songs like this and tangled up. send tis song to modern top 40 and lets gets a country single!

I agree 100%. I think Billy is one of the better vocalists in modern country music , and I loved his first two cd's . But if these two songs are an indication of where hes heading "artistically" , he'll be losing one sale on his next disc.

I guess I'm one of the minority who liked "Tangled Up"! Oh well....."Good Directions" however, is one of my favorite country songs of the last 5 years, hands down. I wish him luck with this new song.

Hmm, after one listen not sure what to think. It is very similar thematically to Tangled Up, which I really liked. I kind of thought part of the reason that flopped was that was around the time he canceled a bunch of shows and checked himself into anger management therapy. I figured he and the label just weren't around to promote it and thus the flop and the longer time between the next single, but that is just me posturing.
So this song is decent--well I love Billy's voice, so maybe it's hard for me to be objective, but it doesn't impress me as a great song. Do we know who wrote this?

Doesn't impress me. Billy needs to try something different.

Must Be Doin' Something Right is a thousand times better. Agreed. I agree also. Not to say this song is really bad. I just think these songs are too similar and this just isn't as good. I think Billy could have had a much better debut single for his third album than this.

I disagree. I can't decide which is better. I agree with you on the disagree, but I believe this song is better. Must Be Doing Something Right is a good song, but I am still burned out on it...
