There is still the chance of Best Buy/Target/Circuit City offering the 2 songs iTunes has though.
They are not iTunes exclusives.

I Can't Stay reminds me of Grace Jones' version of La Vie en Rose...

Flop thread! RollingStone gave D&A 3.5 stars, which ties it with Hot Fuss.

My friend who is a huge Killers fan HATES it. Whatever. I am not thrilled with the clips I heard but I love Human and Spaceman and am sure I will grow to love the rest as I always do.

Well I definitely LOVE this album . Didn't set my expectations too high before I listened to it, so I was thoroughly impressed as I finished. Maybe not as good as Hot Fuss, but better than Sam's Town imo. Definitely worth the wait though.

I can't wait to sit down with the finest skunk and digest this album. Looking forward to Monday the 24th! Even if the clips didn't impress me, I know I will be lovin' it long time because they are my second favorite band!

WFNX, which is the best Alt/Modern Rock station in New England, played the album in its entirety while I was on my way to the White Mountains on Friday. I actually fought with my friend who was driving because he wanted to listen to it and I said I wanted to wait til Monday, when the CD came out. He didn't get it and thought I was being completely illogical. Anyway, I did concede to listen to one song, which happened to be JoyRide. This song was SO much better in full than in the clips.
Tonya, my 3rd favorite band is Led Zeppelin, although I am about to replace them with Kings of Leon.

This album is so much better than Sam's Town. It's not as good as Hot Fuss, but there isn't a bad song on it. It gets a bit samey all at once, though, and "Goodnight, Travel Well" could easily be half the length.

This CD is amazing. I bought it at Newbury Comics and they gave me a free vinyl 45 single with Human on one side and A Crippling Blow on the other. I found A Crippling Blow on mp3 and it definitely should have made the album, as it's one of their best songs EVER. This is a case where the 30 sec clips do the album NO justice at all. I Can't Stay still is a mess but better in full than in clips, for sure.

Does anyone have Tidal Wave or Forget About What I Said? The latter is one I keep downloading but nothing happens when I try to play it and Tidal Wave can't be found at all...

Each time I've listened to "I Can't Stay", the melody of Amy Grant's rendition of "El Shaddai" pops into my head. And it's not like I even know that song; I've just heard a clip of it on some Christian compilation CD commercial.
And I can definitely hear MGMT's "Weekend War" in "Neon Tiger". I know that was the intent, but it just came to me.

Yeah, "Neon Tiger" sounds very MGMT. I can hear "The Youth" in it too.
