i love this song, why people think it flopped? Because some aren't used to seeing a recent Nickelback single climbing at a slower pace compared to some other releases of theirs. Lest we forget, however, "Photograph" and "Far Away" were the only two singles from the previous era that moved up this chart at rapid speed. "Savin' Me", "If Everyone Cared" and "Rockstar" were all modest risers themselves that eventually all became Top 10 hits. Sincerely, Noah Eaton

People set high standards on them that if they climb little by little , people tend to call it flop right away. But to be honest it seems nickleback now is a hit or miss group not like on their past singles.

Today's Update: +49 spins +28 Bullet +0.235 Aud.
Their bullet is now at +367, just two spins lower than the new Sean Kingston song. The song should crack the Top 20 by Sunday :)

This is doing fine. The good news is that downloads all staying steady and seem to be going up as the song rises. It could become the surprise hit of the summer.

^Yeah agreed...callout is still really high too (IMO at least high enough to get it up into the high teens, with a really long chart run)

I think this will eventually hit top 10. It's just a slow climber.

Today's Update +54 Spins +20 Bullet +0.311 Aud
Also notable, the bullet is now larger than Sean Kingston's. The three songs in front of this are dropping, so there's still a good chance that they make the Top 20 Sunday.

This is doing very well and I have to compliment Nickelback AGAIN for remaining so steady in sales without a massive overall hit.

Today's Update: 21 16 NICKELBACK If Today Was Your La... 3735 3407 328 18.670
(Calculated Morning-to-Morning) +86 Spins +36 Bullet +0.430 Aud.
Great update. The song moves up two spots to #16 today. More importantly, it gained more spins than 'Birthday Sex' today, which has been gaining on them for about a week now. IF Nickelback can stay ahead of that song until Sunday, they can break the Top 15. This is getting to be as big as 'Gotta Be Somebody'.

Adds: Decent adds. When will the big stations add? Z100 actually added it a while back...not sure if they just have it in low rotation or if they've dropped it It's maxed out on Star 94/Atlanta, also pretty heavy on Q100/Atlanta and KRBE/Houston

Well at worst now this will get a #15 peak, which is only 2 below GBS' peak. Still have faith it can go top ten though. I think now that SC is falling, pop will really latch onto this as their rockish song for the summer. At least I hope that's what will happen.

And this seems to be selling the album. Which is very good news. I don't actually think it is. I think Something in Your Mouth and Burn it to The Ground over on active rock are what's selling the album. I mean look at BEP with a HUGE first single and how low their albums sales were. I think the Pop format has gone mostly digital and mostly singles oriented. None the less, I think the APPEARANCE that it is helping sell the album will send this nicely into the top 10.

I can't believe with it's slow steady climb that a station actually dropped this. I wonder if they'll pick it back up when this busts into the top10 which I am becoming increasingly confident that it is going to do.

Actually think Hot AC is what's selling the album (GBS was #1 over there, and this is already Top 5...I think Active sold it a lot at first, but IMO most Active listeners prob. would've bought it already Also (sorry) really wouldn't use Boom Boom Pow to measure how pop affects CD sales...IMO prob. just means the CD isn't that great

The fact that Nickelback has established themselves as a true multi-format band now is what's selling the album. When you have songs going top ten or top twenty on CHR, Active, Alt, HAC, and AC you know you're gonna have healthy album sales. That's a huge and very diverse audience that they're reaching with their songs.
